Sean Hannity is a prime example.<\/h2>\n<p>Hannity usually conducts terrible\u200b interviews,\u200c spouting the same\u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/breaking-exclusive-evidence-china-was-colluding-with-the-bidens-and-providing-information-on-how-to-defeat-president-trump-in-the-2020-election\/\" title=\"BREAKING EXCLUSIVE: Evidence China Was Colluding with the Bidens and Providing Information on How to Defeat President Trump in the 2020 Election\">talking points<\/a>\u200b over and \u200cover again\u200b as a substitute for\u2062 actually asking\u2062 questions of the people he is supposed to\u200b be sounding out. All \u2063too often, Hannity\u2019s guests \u200cand audience are left listening to him filibuster.<\/p>\n<p>But recent events seem to have altered Hannity\u2019s demeanor, at least when it comes to newly independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.<\/p>\n<p>In a Tuesday interview, Hannity \u200ceducated viewers on the reality\u2064 of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/robert-f-kennedy-jr-good-bad-ugly\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kennedy\u2019s record<\/a>, \u200cwhich \u2062is very much at odds with \u2062his reputation as an acceptable alternative candidate for Republicans.<\/p>\n<p>Watch the latest video at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\">foxnews.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Kennedy was already stammering when Hannity asked,\u2063 \u201cDo you still believe the NRA is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/rush-to-judgement-three-crucial-questions-remain-unanswered-about-capitol-siege\/\" title=\"Rush to judgement? Three crucial questions remain unanswered about Capitol siege\">terror group<\/a>?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kennedy tried\u2063 to deflect by saying he supports\u200b the\u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/video-jewelry-store-worker-pulls-gun-stops-smash-grab-robbery-progress\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Second Amendment<\/a> and the\u2062 Constitution.<\/p>\n<p>But Hannity \u2064actually drilled down. \u201cI didn\u2019t ask \u200dyou if you support the Second \u2063Amendment. \u2026 In 2018, you said Parkland students are right, the NRA is a terror group.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kennedy \u2064was left feebly\u200d denying any recollection of saying that, and if he \u2062did, he didn\u2019t\u200d mean it.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, X had a better memory than\u200c RFK Jr.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Parkland students are right; the NRA is a terror group<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Robert F. I like \u200cBernie \u2063Sanders. I voted for Barack Obama. I don\u2019t regret\u2063 that,\u201d was Kennedy\u2019s uncomfortable reply.<\/p>\n<p>Even though Kennedy made a big splash <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/rfk-jr-ditches-democrats-announces-presidential-run-independent\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announcing<\/a> his run for president as \u2064an independent, Hannity\u2019s \u2063questions exposed \u2063that he is still very much a \u2063liberal Democrat.<\/p>\n<p>Hannity wondered why Kennedy couldn\u2019t get traction as a Democratic candidate. \u201cI\u2019m not sure \u200dwhy\u2062 the\u200d Democratic Party wouldn\u2019t\u200d allow you to compete,\u201d \u200dhe said.<\/p>\n<p>When RFK Jr. tried to \u200cbrush off the aggressive inquiries as Trump talking \u200bpoints, Hannity proudly responded, \u201cExcuse \u200dme.\u2064 These \u2062are not talking points. These are called Hannity\u2063 points. \u2026 I \u200ddo \u200dmy own research.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kennedy seemed taken \u2064aback dealing with Hannity\u200c in serious conservative\u200c journalist\u2063 mode. Representative \u2063Paul Gosar, a Republican who was vocal in questioning the 2020 election\u200b results, endorsed Kennedy\u2019s current bid for president.\u2062 Gosar is a magnet for controversy,\u200c but\u2062 he\u2063 has his finger \u2064on the pulse of the conservative\u2062 grassroots.<\/p>\n<p>In exposing Kennedy\u200b as a liberal Democrat, Hannity did the conservative movement a favor and reminded everyone that Kennedy&#8217;s independent run is just another\u2063 way\u200c for Democrats to potentially split \u200dRepublican votes.<\/p>\n<p>It remains to be seen whether Hannity\u2019s aggressive interview tactics will become a regular feature of the \u2064network&#8217;s programming or if it\u200c was simply a one-time strategy.
