The couple and their family have lived in Tennessee and filed for asylum. The family has thrived in the\u200b U.S., including having\u2062 two children who are American citizens and \u2064two \u2063other children who married American citizens. Unfortunately, the U.S. authorities denied their asylum claim in 2013. After the Obama administration intervened, the family had\u2064 been able to stay in \u2063the U.S. under an\u2062 &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/as-biden-allows-illegals-to-pour-over-the-border-homeschooling-family-faces-deportation\/\" title=\"Homeschooling Family Faces Deportation Amid Biden's Border Policy.\">indefinite deferred action status<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>But last month the Biden administration told the family they\u200d must return\u200d to Germany. Since Germany hasn&#8217;t changed its \u200dlaw regarding homeschooling, the family has legitimate concerns that if they go back \u2063to Germany, they will face the same prosecution that drove them away in the first place.<\/p>\n<p>While\u200d the Biden\u2063 administration is determined to deport this Christian family, it has done next to nothing to remove\u2064 millions\u2062 of\u2063 illegal \u2064immigrants who came \u200binto the U.S. through our nation&#8217;s southern border, according to a\u200d new report\u2063 from House Republicans.<\/p>\n<p>The Biden administration and its Democrat allies \u2062have insisted for\u200c more than two years that the U.S.-Mexico border wasn&#8217;t open, there is no border crisis, and the administration has enforced immigration laws. But\u200c the data gathered by the House Judiciary Committee paints a\u200c very different \u2062picture: that the Biden administration has failed to deport,\u2062 through immigration court proceedings, more than\u2064 99\u200c percent of illegal immigrants between Jan.\u200d 20, 2021, and March 31, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>After pressure from \u2064the committee to release basic statistics, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) reported more \u2062than 5 million illegal \u2063immigrant encounters in that same period (not including unknown numbers of illegal\u2063 &#8220;getaways&#8221;).\u200c Most \u2064of them \u2062sought to claim asylum\u200b but \u200dwere\u200c disqualified under asylum&#8217;s legal definition. Yet fewer than 6,000 illegal immigrants \u200cwere placed in removal proceedings before an immigration judge and actually removed from the United States during this time.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, nearly half of the 5 million illegal immigrants &#8220;had no confirmed departure from the United States.&#8221; DHS &#8220;released\u200c at least 2,148,738 illegal \u2063aliens into the United States&#8221; during \u200bthe same period, and only 6 percent of\u2062 them &#8220;were even screened for fear of prosecution for the purpose of asylum.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2>An Impeachable Offense?<\/h2>\n<p>According to Jeffrey \u2062H. Anderson, president of the American Main Street Initiative think tank, U.S. immigration law \u2064&#8221;requires\u2063 that those entering the \u2063U.S. without proper documentation be continuously \u200cdetained until their claim can \u2063be adjudicated.&#8221; The Biden administration \u200chas obviously failed to comply with U.S. \u2064immigration law, a failure that Anderson regards as President Biden having committed an impeachable offense.<\/p>\n<p>Despite\u200c complaints\u200d from Democratic mayors, such as New York\u200d City&#8217;s Eric\u200b Adams, about their \u2064cities being \u200doverwhelmed with illegal\u200d immigrants,\u2064 the Biden administration recently doubled down on its open border policy \u2064by granting work permits to close to half a\u2064 million illegal immigrants from Venezuela without congressional authorization.<\/p>\n<p>The Biden administration&#8217;s reluctance to enforce existing laws \u200band its willingness to offer amnesty have created an incentive for even more illegal border \u2062crossings. The\u2062 GOP report estimates \u20641.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/border-patrol-agents-record-1000-percent-increase-in-illegal-immigrants-from-nations-including-china-afghanistan\/\" title=\"Border Patrol Agents report a '1000% surge' in illegal immigrants from countries like China and Afghanistan.\">2 million illegal migrant encounters<\/a> between April \u2063and September\u2063 this year. Last month, within \u206324 hours,\u2064 more than 10,000 illegal migrants were &#8220;encountered&#8221; at the U.S.-Mexico \u2062border. Unsurprisingly, most came from Venezuela because they \u2063regard Biden&#8217;s amnesty to Venezuelans as an\u2063 open invitation to the United\u2062 States.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, our \u200cnation&#8217;s southern border has become\u200c a gate for the illicit drug trade, directly contributing to America&#8217;s opioid epidemic. \u2064The United Nations calls the U.S.-Mexico border &#8220;the deadliest land route&#8221; \u200bfor human trafficking, especially \u200bthe trafficking of children,\u2063 many of\u200b whom have become enslaved workers in the \u200cU.S. What&#8217;s even more outrageous is that citizen journalists caught U.S. government officials facilitating\u2064 child trafficking at taxpayers&#8217; expense.<\/p>\n<h2>About-Face on\u200d Border Wall<\/h2>\n<p>In an about-face move, the Biden administration recently announced it would expedite the construction of a border wall, despite\u200d calling the wall construction under \u200bthe Trump administration &#8220;just one example of the prior administration&#8217;s misplaced priorities and failure to manage\u200b migration in \u2063a safe, orderly, and\u200d humane way.&#8221; White House \u2062Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre \u2063tried \u200cto justify the administration&#8217;s embarrassing\u2064 policy reversal by insisting \u200dBiden\u200d hasn&#8217;t changed \u200bhis opposition to a border wall. Still, his DHS \u200c&#8221;is complying by the law&#8221; \u2063to build a border wall because\u200d &#8220;that appropriation came from fiscal year 2019 under the \u200clast \u2064administration, Republican leadership.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The \u200dBiden\u200c administration&#8217;s claim of &#8220;complying with the law&#8221; is rich. The alarming statistics \u200cfrom the House GOP&#8217;s report demonstrate that the Biden \u2062administration, \u2062starting with President Biden, has surrendered one of\u2062 the government&#8217;s most fundamental responsibilities:\u2063 to enforce laws and \u200bkeep America safe. Not to mention that the Biden administration&#8217;s\u200b approach to immigration laws is so upside down and illogical that it \u2064insists \u200bon deporting a Christian family facing persecution in their \u2063home country while welcoming with open arms illegal migrants who\u2063 are \u200bdisqualified for asylum.<\/p>\n<p>President Biden certainly believes he deserves another term. The\u2064 lack\u2063 of \u200bborder control and enforcement allows drug cartels \u2063to \u200dfreely transport illegal substances into the country, resulting in \u200cwidespread addiction and overdoses.<\/p>\n<p>The Biden administration&#8217;s prioritization of granting \u200damnesty and offering benefits \u2063to illegal \u2062immigrants over\u2062 ensuring the safety and well-being of\u200c American\u200c citizens is\u200c deeply \u2064concerning. The Romeike \u2063family&#8217;s case is a stark\u2064 example of \u200bthis misplaced focus. Yet, they\u200c are being forced to leave the country they now call \u2062home and face potential prosecution in Germany for simply homeschooling their children.<\/p>\n<p>It is hypocritical for the Biden administration to claim to\u200c prioritize human rights\u200c and protection while denying asylum to a family facing genuine prosecution and persecution. The decision to \u2063deport\u2064 the Romeikes sends a \u2063message that the United States is not a safe \u200bhaven for those seeking refuge from oppression and \u2062discrimination.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the stark contrast in treatment \u2062between\u200c the\u200b Romeike family and the millions of illegal \u2063immigrants \u200bentering the country through the southern border is blatantly unjust. While the Romeikes have followed the\u200b legal process, \u200bcontributed to their community, and\u200d built a life in the United States, the Biden administration continues to turn a blind eye to the\u200b influx of illegal immigrants who do not qualify\u2064 for asylum and \u200bpose potential security\u200d risks.<\/p>\n<p>The House Republicans&#8217; report sheds light on the Biden administration&#8217;s\u2064 failure to enforce immigration laws and deport\u200c those who\u200d do not meet the legal \u2063requirements for asylum. \u2062The numbers clearly \u2063indicate that the vast \u200cmajority of illegal immigrants are not being held \u200baccountable and\u2063 are \u200callowed\u200c to remain in the country, further\u2062 exacerbating the immigration crisis \u200bat the \u2062southern border.<\/p>\n<p>The Biden \u200badministration&#8217;s \u2064neglect\u2062 of its duty to enforce \u2062immigration laws could be considered an \u200dimpeachable \u200doffense, as it directly \u200bviolates U.S. \u2064immigration law. By not detaining individuals without proper documentation until their claims \u2063are adjudicated, President \u2063Biden has failed \u200bin his responsibility to uphold\u2063 the law \u200cand protect\u200b American citizens.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the granting of work\u200d permits to\u2064 hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants from Venezuela without congressional authorization is a clear disregard for the democratic process. The administration&#8217;s decision \u200dto bypass Congress further erodes the rule of law \u200band undermines the will of the \u2064American people.<\/p>\n<p>The consequences of the Biden administration&#8217;s lax\u2064 border \u200bpolicies and disregard for immigration laws are\u2064 far-reaching. Not only does\u2062 it undermine the integrity of the \u2062immigration system, but it also puts \u200bAmerican\u200c citizens at risk, both economically and in terms of national security.
