The\u2064 oldest son of the current president died in 2015, at the age \u2062of \u200c46, after a battle with \u2062brain cancer. This is, indeed, a heartbreaking thing \u200dfor anyone\u2064 to endure.<\/p>\n<p>As of early Wednesday\u2063 morning, hundreds of Israelis \u2014 men, women and children \u200c\u2014 were known to have been murdered amid the carnage caused by the terrorist group Hamas and its massive attack \u200bSaturday on the\u2063 Jewish state.\u2062 A CNN report, \u200bciting the Israeli Embassy in the U.S., put the number at more than 1,000. At least 14 of the\u200c dead were Americans.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, between 100 and 150 hostages are\u200b believed to be \u200dheld \u2063in Gaza by the terrorist group \u2014 some of \u2064them American citizens, according to The Associated Press.<\/p>\n<p>Israel is preparing \u200da massive retaliation upon the Hamas-controlled \u2064Gaza Strip and there are\u200b worries this\u200d could escalate into a wider war, particularly \u2063since Israeli Defense \u200bMinister Yoav Gallant announced \u2064he had \u201creleased all restraints\u201d on\u2062 Israel\u200c Defense \u200bForces.<\/p>\n<p>The Israeli\u2062 cabinet\u200c on Sunday issued \u2063the \u200bcountry\u2019s first declaration of war \u200bin more than 50 years.<\/p>\n<p>Now \u2064was not\u2062 the time to talk about the death of Beau Biden. \u2062So,\u200b in \u2063true \u2064Joe\u2062 Biden fashion, the\u2063 president essentially did just\u200c that.<\/p>\n<div id=\"firefly-poll-container\" class=\"one-half\">\n<div class=\"firefly-poll-question\">Do\u2063 you think Biden is a disgrace to the United States?<\/div>\n<div id=\"pollFormBox\" style=\"display: none\">\n\t\t<label>Yes<\/label><br \/>\n\t\t<label>No<\/label><br \/>\n\t\t<\/p>\n<div class=\"firefly-poll-disclaimer\">\n<p>\t\tCompleting \u2062this\u2062 poll \u200centitles you to The Western \u200dJournal news updates free of charge. By doing so, \u200cPresident Biden minimizes\u2062 the severity of the \u2063situation and demonstrates a lack of empathy towards \u2062those who are enduring unimaginable pain and grief.<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time President Biden has made such comparisons. In January 2019, he compared the Trump administration&#8217;s policy of separating immigrant families\u200d at the border to the loss of\u200b his son, \u2062saying, \u201cThis\u200c is not who we\u2064 are\u200c as a nation. And it has\u200d to end. Now.\u201d\u200c While the \u2064separation of families is undoubtedly a significant issue, to equate it to the loss of a child is an insensitive and inappropriate \u2062comparison.<\/p>\n<p>As\u2063 the \u2064leader of the\u200b United \u2063States, \u200cPresident Biden should be \u200cfocused on addressing the pressing issues at hand \u2062and \u200bproviding support \u200cto those\u200d in need, rather than <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/not-again-biden-compares-losing-his-son-to-israelis-who-had-family-slaughtered-by-terrorists\/\" title=\"Biden's Pain: Comparing Son's Loss to Israeli Tragedy\">constantly drawing\u2064 attention back<\/a> to his own personal \u200cexperiences.
