This discovery came shortly after \u200cclassified documents were found at former President Donald\u2064 Trump&#8217;s Florida residence, leading to an indictment against Trump for mishandling classified information.<\/p>\n<p>Special counsel Robert Hur\u200d was appointed in January by Attorney General \u200cMerrick Garland. The interviews with Biden may indicate that \u200dthe investigation is nearing its conclusion, according\u2063 to Reuters.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As we \u200dhave \u200dsaid from the beginning, the President and the White House are \u200bcooperating with this investigation, and as it \u2062has been appropriate, we have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/joe-biden-interviewed-by-special-counsel-in-classified-documents-investigation\/\" title=\"Joe Biden questioned by special counsel in classified documents probe.\">provided relevant updates publicly<\/a>, \u2063being as transparent as \u2064we \u2062can consistent with protecting and preserving the integrity of \u2062the investigation,&#8221; said White House spokesman\u2064 Ian Sams.<\/p>\n<p>Biden was \u200cfound to have up to\u200b 30 classified documents, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-undergoes-two-days-of-special-counsel-questioning-in-classified-documents-case\/\" title=\"Biden questioned by Special Counsel for two days in classified documents case.\">including highly sensitive\u2064 intelligence briefs<\/a> about foreign adversaries, as reported by CNN. Some of these documents were discovered by \u2064the president&#8217;s personal attorneys, who did not have security clearances. Documents found at Biden&#8217;s Delaware \u2062home were even found in \u2064his garage, next to his\u2064 Chevrolet Corvette.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We \u2064are confident \u2062that a thorough review will show\u200d that these documents were inadvertently misplaced,&#8221; said an \u2064attorney for Biden \u2062after Hur was appointed special counsel, according to \u200bABC News.<\/p>\n<p>The Washington Post reported that people close to the president expressed frustration that the investigation \u200binto Biden did\u200c not conclude as quickly as the one into former Vice President Mike Pence.
