Too many were handed harsh sentences for \u2062misdemeanor activities.<\/p>\n<p>Yet some Democrats gloss over the egregious behavior of Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.) who shouted fire \u2063in a crowded Cannon House\u2063 building by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/us\/democrat-lawmaker-under-investigation-after-pulling-fire-alarm-in-old-house-office-building-before-vote-5501629\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">setting\u2063 off a fire alarm<\/a> on Sept. 30 when there was no fire. Shouldn\u2019t he be suspended or expelled from Congress?<\/p>\n<p>Are politicians adhering to the Constitution when they remain fixated with loathing against \u2062one\u200b individual (Donald Trump) while manufacturing trumped-up \u200dcharges (pardon\u2064 the pun) against him? \u2062The current Justice Department \u2063treats \u201cprogressives\u201d with kid gloves while consigning conservatives to the \u201cguilty until proven innocent\u201d inversion.<\/p>\n<p>This is similar \u200dto\u200c what Josef Stalin\u2019s secret police chief Lavrentiy Beria\u2064 would \u200cpractice. Beria\u2064 noted, \u201cShow \u2063me\u200c the man \u2062and \u2063I will find you the crime.\u201d\u2063 When will politicians focus on the genuine corruption of the administrative state with its insatiable \u2062thirst for power and the spending of \u2063taxpayer \u2063dollars? Why don\u2019t \u2062they labor to trim the \u200bdebt and streamline government agencies?<\/p>\n<p>All of a sudden, Democrats in Sacramento, California, are worried about crime and\u2064 homelessness. Are they protecting Americans when \u2064they defund the police, utilize no cash bail, and \u2063treat\u2063 criminals as victims? Soft-on-crime policies\u200b have \u200delated criminals and enabled the homeless to\u2063 avoid personal responsibility in\u2063 a number of Democrat-run cities and states. This lawlessness\u200d adversely \u2063impacts business and community safety and prosperity. Unfortunately, too many politicians \u2064address these crises \u2062only\u2064 when it directly affects them or an election looms on \u2062the horizon.<\/p>\n<p>Do political leaders enhance the national interest by allowing inflation to \u2063persist through energy dependency on nations\u200b that despise\u2063 America? While a small number of\u200d individuals chose to enter the building during\u200d the election\u200d certification, the majority of \u200cprotestors\u200c remained \u200coutside, exercising their right to peaceful demonstration. However,\u200c Democrats\u2063 have chosen to label \u2062all protestors as terrorists, painting a distorted picture that undermines the rule of law. It is vital to\u200d distinguish between the\u200c actions of \u200ba few individuals and the larger group and to prosecute those responsible appropriately.<\/p>\n<p>In\u2063 this context, the disproportionate sentencing handed to individuals involved \u2062in misdemeanor activities during the\u200c events of\u2063 January 6 raises significant concerns. It \u2063is essential to pursue justice in a fair and \u200dproportional manner, ensuring that\u2062 the punishment is commensurate with the offense committed.
