According to researchers from the United States and Britain, people who experienced a second bout of COVID-19 cleared the illness in an average of\u200d 6.6 days, compared\u2062 to 9.3 days for the initial infection.<\/p>\n<p>The\u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/you-may-increase-your-risk-of-obesity-by-eating-at-this-time\/\" title=\"You May Increase Your Risk of Obesity By Eating at This Time\">study analyzed data<\/a> from 1,796 \u200cfirst infections and 193 second infections. Another \u2063574 had an\u200b <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/cnn-medical-analyst-says-cloth-masks-are-little-more-than-facial-decorations\/\" title=\"CNN Medical Analyst Says Cloth Masks Are \u2018Little More Than Facial Decorations\u2019\">unknown vaccination status<\/a>, while only 127 were\u200b unvaccinated.<\/p>\n<p>Out of\u2063 the 193\u200d individuals with documented reinfections, 160 were vaccinated, 25 had an\u200d unknown vaccination status, and only eight were unvaccinated.<\/p>\n<p>It is\u2063 worth noting that individuals were not considered vaccinated \u2063until 14 days had passed following their second Moderna or Pfizer shot,\u2064 or 14 days \u2063after a single Johnson &#038;\u2063 Johnson shot. Critics argue that this counting method may obscure some infections that occur in the initial days following vaccination.<\/p>\n<p>The study did not find\u200d significant\u200d differences in viral\u200c kinetics between the vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals, including clearance time and peak \u2064viral \u2062concentration. Additionally, the kinetics \u2062of reinfection did not significantly differ based\u2062 on the virus variant.<\/p>\n<p>The researchers\u2062 received funding from the U.S. Centers\u2064 for\u200b Disease Control and Prevention, Yale\u200c University, the National Basketball \u2062Players Association, and the U.S. \u2064National \u2063Institutes of Health.
