Being eight months pregnant, I\u2019ve lost any tolerance I\u200d had for nonsense, but even prior to pregnancy, when I compare the young adults in \u200bthe past \u2014 in our incredibly recent \u200dand \u200dshort American history \u2014 to young adults today, I am not\u2063 only disheartened, I\u2019m angry.<\/p>\n<p>Men today look\u200d like sissies, and I honestly think I could beat some of them up today. Granted, there has been a \u200dsignificant \u200creduction \u200cin testosterone levels\u200b over\u200d time. A study done in 2007 found that testosterone had decreased by about 22% from 1985 to 2002, and in another study from 2021, researchers concluded that testosterone levels in \u2064males had dropped roughly 25% from 1999 to 2006. These drops are tremendous decreases. If you are a male living in today\u2019s society, your grandfather and his father had much higher testosterone levels than you. Some people think this\u200b decrease is\u200b caused by foods, \u200cand others think it\u2019s toxins sprayed on crops. Regardless of \u2062what the cause is, it\u2019s an issue.<\/p>\n<h3>WATCH: Candace Owens REACTS to Woke College Students<\/h3>\n<p>This\u2064 had never been more clear to me than \u2062when I watched World War II in \u2062Color.\u200c This docuseries is footage from World War II put in color, and it made\u2062 clear just how young these soldiers were. They appear\u2064 as strong men, but their faces still \u2063have boyish features. Eighteen- and nineteen-year-old soldiers left their families and their homes, some \u2062of them knowing\u200d they would die \u2014 \u2062like the pilots who flew in the Battle of Midway, who \u200bknew they did not have enough fuel to return to their aircraft carriers. Women sent\u2064 their sons to\u200d war; \u200cwives watched\u200d their husbands and fathers of their children leave, many never returning. Their bravery is incomprehensible. But men were stronger then. \u2064And women were stronger.<\/p>\n<p>Fast forward to today and we have people who think listening \u200bto a conservative give\u2062 a speech is an act of bravery. These individuals \u200bI speak in front of muster up\u200d the courage to ask me a question, and they stand up, thinking they will have their Martin Luther King moment. They\u2019re going to say something strong \u200cand assertive to Candace Owens and give their \u201cI Have a\u200c Dream\u201d speech. It happens over and over again, so at this point, it\u2019s to be expected. But \u200dwhen\u2064 I spoke at Turning Point USA\u2019s event this week,\u2062 I planned to \u2064speak\u200d about economic and social conservatism \u2014 which is\u2063 what I did. What I did not do is show up with the intention of mothering and raising these college kids. I don\u2019t know why they think it\u2019s an act of bravery to ask \u2064a \u2062conservative a question,\u2063 but it was astounding how many people from the queer \u2062community had something \u200dto say to me.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Student: &#8220;What \u200cdo\u2062 you have to say to the trans students on this campus who feel actively victimized by your presence\u2062 here?&#8221;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RealCandaceO?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@RealCandaceO<\/a>:  &#8220;Life&#8217;s tough. All\u200b they\u2062 want\u2063 to talk about\u2063 is \u2062their feelings.\u2062 They have no facts. They want to be coddled, just as they have been coddled their whole \u2064lives, and people are\u2064 spending upwards of $60,000 a year to continue allowing these students to claim they\u200d are victims. There is no greater example of the active pursuit of victimization\u2063 than a young college student waiting in a long line to attend an optional event to hear an eight<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/lifes-tough-get-a-helmet-man\/\" title=\"Life is challenging. Wear a helmet, dude.\">-month pregnant woman speak<\/a> about conservative principles; that way, she\u2062 could garner the strength to stand and ask\u2063 a question on behalf\u200c of the other people who were victimized by\u200b my \u2062presence. Several more students asked questions, \u2062all of which sadly \u200cshowed \u2063what \u200cthey deem \u200dto be acts of \u2062bravery and glory. In fact, some weren\u2019t even questions. They were just statements because they \u200cwanted their \u201cbrave moment.\u201d Weigh that against the actual heroes of the past, and it\u2019s absolutely depressing.<\/p>\n<p>I did not expect this question and my answer to go viral. My response was\u200d something \u200dthis young lady needed \u200cto hear. Life is tough and\u2063 she \u2064certainly should get a helmet. I also recommend\u200c she get some kneepads. She seems especially fragile. But I was\u200b even more surprised\u2064 that \u200bpeople on the\u200c Right and \u2063the\u2063 Left have been responding positively; people who \u201cdon\u2019t even \u200blike Candace\u201d have commented their support. I think people are exhausted from coddle culture and they are tired of praising\u200b and pursuing victimization.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_632263\" style=\"width: 495px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\">\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-632263\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">DailyWire+<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The pursuants of victimization and these college students should know there is nothing wrong with their life. Stop choosing to be a victim. Being spoiled and coddled is \u2064the opposite of a victim.\u2063 Attending a university for tens of thousands of dollars and opting into a speech proves there is nothing wrong with your life. You\u2019re spoiled. You\u200c are actually among the most entitled people in the world. Stop compelling other people to say things \u200cthey do not even believe all so you can feel \u200bgood. You are not personally victimized.<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t\u2062 know exactly what\u2019s happening with young men and women, but I \u200ddo know we can attribute much of the problem to a crisis in parenting. Examining the households\u200d that produced these young children would reveal much of\u2062 the issue. Children need to be raised by\u200d stable, strong parents\u200c who are not encouraging them to believe everything \u200bthey do is\u2063 special and\u200c everything they say is rational. Rather, we need\u2062 parents to be\u2064 actual parents. This is why, when I go to college campuses, I feel like\u200d I am being asked \u200dto be everyone\u2019s mommy.<\/p>\n<p>So, take my\u200b words to heart: Life\u2019s tough. Students who disagree \u2062with her views or feel personally offended\u200b by her presence often\u200b claim to be victims. However, this victimhood mentality is becoming increasingly prevalent among\u200d young\u2064 adults today, \u200dand it is deeply concerning.<\/p>\n<p>Firstly, it is important\u2064 to acknowledge that there\u200d are valid cases \u2063of\u200c victimization that individuals may experience. Victims of \u200cphysical, emotional, or psychological\u200d abuse, discrimination, or \u2063injustice are entitled to support and empathy. However, labeling oneself \u200bas a victim\u200c simply because someone\u2062 holds different opinions or expresses ideas that challenge one&#8217;s beliefs is a\u2063 misguided and dangerous \u2064trend.<\/p>\n<p>In\u200b recent \u2063years, there has \u200dbeen a \u2064significant decline in testosterone levels among men.\u2064 While there are varying theories about the \u2063cause of this decline,\u2062 the fact remains that men today are increasingly\u2064 lacking the \u200cstrength and resilience displayed by\u200c previous generations. This decline in masculinity is not \u2064limited to physical attributes but is also \u2064reflected in the emotional fragility that is \u2063prevalent among young \u200badults today.<\/p>\n<p>Comparing the courage and sacrifice of soldiers in World War II to the perceived bravery of today&#8217;s\u2062 college students is \u2062a stark \u200bcontrast. The young men who fought in that war left behind their families and faced death with unwavering determination. \u2062In contrast, today&#8217;s college students consider attending a conservative speech \u2062and asking a somewhat \u2063challenging question as an act of \u2064bravery.\u2062 This distorted \u2064perspective \u200cdiminishes the true meaning of bravery and undermines the sacrifices\u2064 made by previous generations.<\/p>\n<p>The constant need \u200bfor validation and affirmation is \u200canother\u200c concerning aspect of this victimhood mentality. Students seeking to have \u200btheir \u2064&#8221;brave moment&#8221; by standing up and making statements instead of asking genuine questions demonstrate a \u2062desire for attention rather than a genuine \u2062pursuit of knowledge or understanding. This self-centered focus on \u2064emotions and feelings hinders constructive dialogue and intellectual \u2063growth.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the excessive emphasis on victimhood in academia has created an \u2063environment that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/iowa-gov-kim-reynolds-will-give-republican-response-to-biden-state-of-the-union-address\/\" title=\"Iowa Gov. This not only\u2063 limits \u200bthe exchange of ideas but also hampers personal growth and intellectual development.<\/p>\n<p>It is time for individuals, especially college students, to take responsibility for their\u2062 own\u2062 feelings and beliefs. Instead of seeking validation as victims, they should embrace\u2063 intellectual curiosity, engage in respectful dialogue, and \u200cdevelop\u200d the resilience necessary\u2064 to navigate differing perspectives.
