With losses exceeding $100‌ million, this attack serves as a⁢ stark reminder of the importance of⁣ robust cybersecurity measures in the digital age.

The attack, which occurred on September 10th, ⁢prompted MGM to take⁤ immediate action by shutting down⁣ its casino and⁤ hotel computer systems nationwide. This decision‌ was taken to ensure the protection of sensitive data and mitigate ⁢any further damage.
