In a tweet, she expressed\u200c her \u200dfrustration, stating that she and her husband,\u200b as well as her\u2062 sister and close friends, are\u200d still making loan \u200bpayments. She believes it&#8217;s time to tackle the issue of student\u2064 debt and make education more affordable.<\/p>\n<p>In\u200d 2019, Mucarsel-Powell co-sponsored the No Student\u2062 Loan Interest Act, which \u200caims to cancel\u200c interest on certain \u200cfederal student loans.
