If that sounds mean, it\u2019s not meant\u2062 to be. \u2062There\u2019s just no other conclusion to be drawn.<\/p>\n<p>As the Synod on Synodality \u2014 a rough\u2063 beast that has slouched to Rome \u200dto be \u200cborn \u2014 was about to begin this week, Francis strategically published an\u2063 encyclical, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vatican.va\/content\/francesco\/en\/apost_exhortations\/documents\/20231004-laudate-deum.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Laudate Deum<\/a><\/em>, \u2062an official papal document, which in this \u200ccase is wholly \u2062political and\u200d has very little\u200c \u2014 if anything \u2014 to do with Christian faith. \u2063That\u2019s the world we live in.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t let the Catholic jargon or Latin language trip you up. The letter has nothing to do with Catholic tradition.<em> Laudate Deum<\/em> translates into \u201cPraise God,\u201d\u2064 but the encyclical has precious little\u2064 to say about God.\u200d It is so in-your-face globalist that, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.firstthings.com\/web-exclusives\/2023\/10\/laudate-deum-barely-mentions-christ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">First Things<\/a>, \u201cit could have been drafted by any intelligent non-believer working for\u2063 a secular NGO.\u201d You don\u2019t need to be a Christian to get the Pope\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/whoopi-pushes-globalist-plan-open-us-border-radical-even-beto-avoids-agreeing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">globalist<\/a> message:\u2063 Only the elite can save us now.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJesus makes\u2064 an appearance in paragraph No. 1, \u200cthen goes on \u200dhiatus until paragraph No. 64,\u201d Francis X. Maier wrote in First Things. \u201cIn a text of 7,500 words, the word \u2018Jesus\u2019\u2062 appears three times; \u2018God,\u2019 11 times; \u2018Church,\u2019 once; \u2018Catholic,\u2019 twice; \u2018biblical,\u2019 once; \u2018Bible,\u2019 once; and \u2018Christian,\u2019 once.<\/p>\n<p>Maier rightly concluded,\u2064 \u201c<em>Laudate Deum<\/em> is an essentially <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/satanic-temple-secular-government-hit-hard-stop-descending-10-commandments-supreme-court-already-settled-debate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">secular<\/a> document with a religious addendum.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re scratching your head wondering why a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/pope-francis-scolds-americans-irresponsible-demands-change-western-model\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pope<\/a> would issue an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/pope-francis-allows-women-to-join-group-of-bishops-advising-him\/\" title=\"Pope Francis Allows Women To Join Group Of Bishops Advising Him\">official church document<\/a> that has nothing to do with the church \u2014 except for a little religious window\u200d dressing to make it palatable to liberal Catholics \u2014 you haven\u2019t been\u200c following along.<\/p>\n<p>Not \u200bthat you should be. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/notoriously-liberal-pope-francis-just-ok-homosexual-unions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pope Francis<\/a> is a master of woke double-speak. For woke Catholics \u2014 \u200can oxymoron if there ever was one \u2014 what was once sin is now virtue, and virtue is now sin. Most common \u200bsense people would have given up trying to follow this kind of nonsense, especially from a church, a\u200b <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ben-franklins-name-scrubbed-from-tacoma-city-park\/\" title=\"Ben Franklin\u2019s Name Scrubbed From Tacoma City Park\">long time ago<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For example, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ap-vatican-cardinal-performs-rite-desecrated-altar-st-peters-basilica-naked-protest\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vatican<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.synod.va\/en\/what-is-the-synod-21-24\/about.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">website<\/a> has a definition of\u200d \u201csynodality\u201d so vague it could\u2064 mean almost anything. \u201cSynodality denotes the particular style that qualifies the life\u200c and mission of the\u200b Church.\u201d\u00a0 I guess synodality \u2014 a word most people have never heard of before \u2014 is just a matter of style. Whose perspective? What style? All I can say is that from my own perspective of style, it\u2019s one of the most vapid definitions I\u2019ve ever heard. Since when did \u200dCatholic popes \u2014 who have spent centuries defending the absolute truth which is God \u2014 start pushing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/biden-lied-four-years-life-job-claimed-work-total-fabrication\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">relativism<\/a>, which means truth is what you make of it? Since Pope Francis.<\/p>\n<p>As for the encyclical itself, it \u201cis an astonishing document, in which Pope \u200dFrancis uses his authority to make definitive judgments \u2014 not on\u200b questions of faith and morals, but on scientific and political questions that\u2064 are still under\u2062 debate,\u201d\u2062 Philip F. Lawler wrote for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.catholicculture.org\/news\/headlines\/index.cfm?storyid=60106\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Catholic World News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For Francis, anybody who questions the climate crisis is a nutjob and not to be believed. He dismisses out of hand the growing list of more\u200d than 1,600 scientists, including two Nobel Laureates, who claim the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/dnc-fly-anti-republican-plane-gop-debate-despite-cries-climate-emergency\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">climate emergency<\/a> is\u200d a myth, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/09\/01\/second-nobel-prize-winner-signs-letter-with-1600-scientists-declaring-climate-emergency-a-myth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Federalist<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Catholic authorities haven\u2019t taken such a specific stand on scientific\u200c matters for 400 years, when Galileo was in the hot seat, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncregister.com\/commentaries\/laudate-deum-environment-exhortation#:~:text=The%20explicit%20call%20of%20Laudate,%E2%80%9CU.N.%20ambassador%20for%20climate.%E2%80%9D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Catholic Register<\/a>. Nevertheless, \u2063the encyclical fails to put forward a\u2064 \u201cmagisterial pronouncement on climatological scientific research.\u201d \u200dInstead, Francis declared the scientific results he purports to be true as \u201cindisputable\u201d and anyone who denies it is a demoniac. Is Francis speaking about divine revelation or science?<\/p>\n<p>Anyone who claims to \u201cfollow the \u2062science\u201d and then dismisses a good portion of it can be trusted \u2064about as much as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/rand-paul-announces-criminal-referral-dr-fauci-got-evidence-back\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dr. Anthony Fauci<\/a> of the \u2064COVID debacle.<\/p>\n<p>In short,\u200c Francis adopted the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/can-hear-pin-drop-elon-musk-breaks-narrative-globalist-summit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">globalist narrative<\/a> \u200d concerning climate change and proposed a political solution\u200b of \u201cmultilateralism\u201d to\u2063 be wielded by some kind of one-world government.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are speaking above\u200b all of \u2018more effective world\u2063 organizations, \u200bequipped with the power to provide for the global common good, the elimination of hunger and poverty and the sure defense of fundamental human rights&#8217;\u201d the letter said. The quote is taken from another Francis encyclical, <em>Fratelli Tutti<\/em>, which translates into \u201cAll Bothers\u201d and, considering the \u201cstyle\u201d of the <em>Laudate Deum,<\/em> is eerily communistic.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe issue is \u200bthat they must be endowed with real\u200b authority, in such a way as to \u2018provide for\u2019 the attainment of certain essential goals,\u201d Francis continued. \u201cIn this way, there could come about a \u2064multilateralism that is not dependent on changing political conditions or the interests of a certain few, and possesses a\u200b stable efficacy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And there you have it. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/desantis-cuts-off-fox-news-moderator-middle-climate-change-stunt-not-school-children\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Climate change<\/a> is an emergency that can only\u200b be solved by globalists \u2064who \u201care endowed with real authority\u201d to tell the rest of us what we can and cannot do. Pope Francis seems to be \u2063saying a handful of humans can\u200c create heaven on earth if only they are given \u2014 or take \u2014 the power to do it.\u00a0 No need for God.<\/p>\n<p>What Francis seems to forget is that we \u200dlive in a fallen world, and only God can\u2062 redeem it. It seems that\u200b for Pope \u200cFrancis, God is \u2063either dead or \u200bimpotent.\u200c That\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/will-americas-heretical-president-able-receive-holy-communion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">heretical<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s not Catholic, it\u2019s not Christian, and it\u2019s not American.
