You let people out \u2026 You should let people out \u2026\u201d the incredulous teen said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, I\u2019m not letting\u200b you out,\u201d the judge replied.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy not?\u201d the\u2064 teen asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy not? The liberal elites, with \u200ctheir soft-on-crime policies and emphasis on \u2062social justice, have created a new class of criminals who feel entitled to commit violent acts without fear of real consequences.<\/p>\n<p>In\u2063 these cities,\u200b criminals are emboldened by the knowledge that they will likely receive \u200bleniency from the \u2064justice system. The push to &#8220;de-fund the police&#8221; and the demonization of law enforcement further reinforces the\u2063 idea that criminals \u2063can act with\u200d impunity.<\/p>\n<p>This entitlement is not limited to the criminal justice system. It \u200bpermeates our society as a\u200c whole. Social media users rightly pointed out the audacity of the teen in the courtroom, questioning why he couldn&#8217;t \u200cbe released on house arrest. It is clear that\u200d he believed he should be treated differently because of his perceived victimhood.<\/p>\n<p>The liberal coastal elites have\u2063 fostered a culture of victimhood \u200cand entitlement, where criminals are seen as the\u2064 victims and law-abiding citizens are demonized. They have created a system where criminals, particularly those from minority groups, are given special treatment \u2062and are allowed\u200b to exploit their identities to avoid accountability for their actions.<\/p>\n<p>This is not to say that all criminals in liberal coastal cities \u200dare entitled or that every incident should be seen through the lens of identity\u200b politics. \u200bHowever, there is a \u2062clear pattern emerging, \u200dwhere criminals feel emboldened and entitled,\u200c and the justice system is increasingly\u2064 swayed by identity politics.<\/p>\n<p>It is time to return to a system\u200c that prioritizes the safety and well-being of law-abiding citizens over the rights and entitlements of criminals. We\u2064 must reject the narrative that\u200d criminals are the victims and start\u2063 holding them accountable for their actions.
