GOP\u2064 House \u2062&#8217;Rule\u2062 26&#8242; May Stand in the Way<\/h2>\n<p>Even if former President Donald Trump wants to give up crisscrossing the country as he campaigns for the White\u2064 House to spend his days in Washington as\u200b speaker of the House, \u200da House rule might get in \u2063the way.<\/p>\n<p>The fall of former Speaker <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/matt-gaetz-goes-off-speaking-media-kevin-mccarthy-ousting\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kevin McCarthy<\/a> \u200d this week\u2063 has given birth to a number of\u2064 scenarios\u2062 to replace him, \u2064one of which involves Trump taking \u2062over the post.<\/p>\n<p>Republican Rep. Troy \u2062Nehls of Texas said Tuesday he would be nominating the former president for the role.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Kevin McCarthy will NOT be running again as Speaker.<\/p>\n<p>I\u200d nominate Donald J.
