This is true of both feminism and many\u200b ideas \u2063and movements \u200cthat oppose feminism.<\/p>\n<p>It should \u200dbe no surprise to thinking people that\u200c an issue \u2062as critical\u200c to the moral fabric \u2064of our \u200csociety as how\u200c we view and treat\u200c women is simply not as black and \u2064white\u200b as \u201cfeminism\u201d \u200cand \u201canti-feminism.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Don\u2019t Make\u2064 Feminists the \u2062Defenders of Women\u2019s Rights<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The problem with\u2064 feminism is that it sets itself\u200c up\u2062 as the sole\u2063 defender of\u200d the\u2063 dignity\u200c of\u200b women.<\/p>\n<p>So, even\u2062 if\u200c you oppose \u2062its false claims about a \u200dculture \u2064that recognizes and accommodates the differences \u2063between men and women, you may very well\u2062 be fulfilling a fallacious feminist fantasy and further undermining a sound, objective \u2062moral ethic on the\u2063 civilized treatment of \u200cwomen \u200dand girls.<\/p>\n<p>After all, look at\u200d the state of\u2063 \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/antiracist-professor-scrambles-explain-decline-research-center-storm-clouds-gather\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">anti-racism<\/a>\u201d in this country. \u200cNeed I say more?<\/p>\n<p>We\u200b are certainly \u2063not \u2064prepared to give the postmodern critical theorists a\u2064 monopoly on opposing racism.<\/p>\n<p>Nor should\u2062 we give this faction, which \u2062is the same broader faction\u2062 that has promoted many modern narratives on feminism, capital on \u2062what it means to defend the rights and dignity of womankind.<\/p>\n<h3>Feminism\u2019s Illogical Assumptions<\/h3>\n<p>Feminists have long capitalized on the\u2062 assumption\u200b that it is bad to\u200b oppress women.\u200d This is \u2062an assumption \u200dthat the vast majority of \u2063Westerners agree with.<\/p>\n<p>Basic biblical ethics\u200c confirms that it is, indeed, bad to oppress anyone.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, \u200bfeminism misunderstands what it means to be \u2062oppressed and thus builds\u200b upon a faulty\u200c foundation.<\/p>\n<p>Patriarchy is bad, the narrative \u2064goes, because men \u2063are\u200c in control. \u2062We are left to assume that men being in control is \u200bbad.<\/p>\n<p>However, logically\u2064 speaking, \u2064we cannot \u2063assume that \u2063patriarchy is always wrong because men are in control. \u2063We\u2019d have\u200d to establish more\u200d concretely that \u2063male leadership in society is usually tied\u2063 to negative outcomes, which is another conversation altogether.<\/p>\n<p>All the same, it has long been the prevailing rhetoric in our\u2062 culture that traditional roles at home \u2064are generally negative \u2064for women unless a\u200d woman is able to \u201cchoose\u201d whether or not she will assume those roles.<\/p>\n<p>Again, this establishes the\u2062 faulty premise \u2064that it is wrong to assume a married \u200bwoman\u200c should be the keeper of her house and the\u2064 primary caretaker of her own <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/senator-reads-filthy-gender-queer-book-found-schools-author-confirms-never-meant-children\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">children<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Not to mention that it sets up the \u200bassumption that any \u2062other choice a woman can make will naturally be just as virtuous, simply because \u200bshe chose it for herself.<\/p>\n<p>People make all\u200b sorts of bad choices. Simply having the \u2063sovereignty to choose something different than what society has historically expected of you is not inherently good.<\/p>\n<p>(All this is to say nothing of the massive blind spot\u2064 feminism has on the burden that men have borne throughout history\u200b as providers and protectors.)<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Women Are Abused in\u2063 the Feminist \u200dWest<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Built on \u2062a\u200b similarly\u200d faulty foundation is \u2064the assumption that if women have equal access to\u2063 the vote and to educational and career opportunities, it will equalize society.<\/p>\n<p>The error here is \u2063the idea that participation in representative democracy and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-best-interests-of-children-have-often-come-dead-last-watch-mcconnell-tear-into-teachers-unions\/\" title=\"\u2018The Best Interests Of Children Have Often Come Dead Last\u2019: Watch McConnell Tear Into Teachers\u2019 Unions\">white-collar work<\/a> is the gold standard for what \u200dit looks like when\u2062 society treats you with dignity.<\/p>\n<p>Now, let me \u2062be\u200b clear \u2014 I\u200d am not arguing that education, careers or voting for women\u2062 are inherently wrong.<\/p>\n<p>This \u200dis simply to establish that we \u200ccannot assume these things are inherently good or\u2064 that we have the moral imperative\u2063 to \u200bbring \u201cequality\u201d between the sexes.<\/p>\n<p>My \u2062contention is that equality between the sexes is an illusion,\u200d as I hope you can see the last half-century of\u200b radical social \u2064change has taught us.<\/p>\n<p>The truth is, feminism is not the gold standard \u2062for the fair treatment\u200b of \u2063women.<\/p>\n<p>Women are still \u2064abused \u2064and mistreated \u200cin the feminist West; in \u2064fact, they\u2019re now\u2064 being trafficked and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/pornhub-employee-exposes-loophole-used-human-traffickers-rapists-make-money\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">exploited<\/a> in shocking numbers\u2064 and\u2063 treated \u200blike objects \u200dfor the raging pornography industry that has been so sickeningly empowered by\u200b the postmodern destruction of traditional sexual ethics.<\/p>\n<p>I believe feminism\u200c has completely undermined the dignity and worth of women, as it contends\u2062 that \u200bour biological differences lead to\u2062 unfairness and\u2063 that unrestricted \u200bsex is inconsequential\u2063 to the well-being of\u200c women.<\/p>\n<p>Yet opposing this idea \u200band building on another faulty foundation in no way guarantees that\u2064 we \u2063will help <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/daughters-american-revolution-causes-revolt-allowing-transgender-members\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">women<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Just \u200blook at the Taliban.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>What \u2064the\u200c \u201cRed Pill\u201d Gets \u2062Wrong<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>This is\u2064 exactly why feminists\u200d love that people\u200d like Andrew Tate and many of the voices of \u2064the so<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biblical-logic-vs-the-red-pill-its-not-enough-to-be-anti-feminist\/\" title=\"Biblical Logic vs. 'Red Pill': Being Anti-Feminist isn't Sufficient\">-called \u201cred \u200cpill\u201d\u2063 movement make<\/a> an easy target \u200bat which to aim criticisms of \u201canti-feminism.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Yes, Tate and his ilk criticize \u2064feminism and make some good points. This is why\u2064 they are appealing to conservatives\u2062 and even some <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/celebrity-tattoo-artist-kat-von-d-gets-baptized-discarding-witchcraft-books-turning-christ\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Christians<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Their\u200c job is\u200c easy \u2014\u2062 the glaring faults of feminism \u2062are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/sean-penn-writes-angry-letter-blasting-staff-who-complained-about-vaccine-distribution-site-working-conditions\/\" title=\"Sean Penn Writes Angry Letter Blasting Staff Who Complained About Vaccine Distribution Site Working Conditions\">low-hanging fruit<\/a>. Anyone can\u2062 refute them, \u2064but\u2064 the foundation\u200d of these critics\u2019 own moral convictions can \u200dbe just as rotten.<\/p>\n<p>If Tate \u200bopposed the fruits of feminism as much as he\u200c does its\u2063 more obvious flaws, \u200dhe\u2019d be his own harshest critic. He has glorified\u2062 an idea of manhood\u200b built\u2063 on personal pride, sexual lust, and the blatant degradation\u200c of\u200b women.<\/p>\n<p>By his own admission, he\u2062 spearheaded an enterprise that manipulated\u2064 and recruited young women \u200binto being \u200cexploited for the\u200d depraved desires of wicked\u200b men.<\/p>\n<p>Other \u201cred pill\u201d influencers argue \u200dmen must sleep with a plethora of women to be considered \u201chigh-value\u201d or claim that men can cheat on \u2063their wives and still\u200c be\u2062 good \u200dhusbands \u200cand\u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/gop-congressman-becomes-first-time-father-gives-daughter-meaningful-name\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fathers<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Feminists \u200bdefy biology, looking forward to a genderless society in which no distinction between the sexes is necessary. They justify\u200c petty jealousies\u200d and the female\u2062 tendency\u2064 to self-pity.<\/p>\n<p>Red pill\u2063 figures look to biology to inform their morality with virtually the same degree \u2063of hopeless cluelessness.<\/p>\n<p>They justify sinful lusts and the male tendency to crave power\u200c and prestige. They \u2062deny\u200c the necessity\u200d of male self-denial to build\u2062 families, communities\u2063 and \u2064civilizations.<\/p>\n<p>Both of these ideas construct\u200b morality\u200b out of human emotion.<\/p>\n<p>Neither view takes into account the fall of \u200dmankind.\u200b Neither protects the dignity of either men \u2063or women, because \u200ceach is based \u2062on lies\u2062 about who men and \u200dwomen are.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>The \u2064Biblical Woman<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>There is \u2064no denying \u200cthat men and women are different. We \u200cwere, in fact, made this way, and any ethic regarding \u2063sexual relations must \u200cbe rooted in this \u200bfact.<\/p>\n<p>This is\u2062 precisely why I am not \u200ca feminist.<\/p>\n<p>God completed not only mankind but the entire work \u2064of\u200d creation when he made Eve from Adam\u2019s\u2064 rib, thus crafting the only perfect solution to \u200cthe problem of man being alone\u200c (Genesis 2:18).<\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=1+Corinthians+11%3A1-16&#038;version=ESV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">1 Corinthians \u206411<\/a>, Paul expounds beautifully on the place \u2064Eve had \u2063in creation when she was made for her mate in this \u200bway, with inherent dignity and worth that is true of all women and also reflected in the\u2064 role \u200dwomen\u2063 played in the\u2062 ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, \u200cthe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Proverbs+31%3A10-31&#038;version=ESV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Proverbs\u2062 31<\/a> woman,\u200c the great epitome of biblical \u2062womanhood, does \u2064not deserve \u200dthis distinction simply because she is excellent at cooking and homemaking.<\/p>\n<p>In\u200b her\u200b shrewd stewardship of resources, we see the biblical woman\u2019s chief\u2063 virtue: her fear \u2063of the Lord.<\/p>\n<p>It \u2063is\u2062 also the fear of the Lord \u200bthat leads men to wisdom,\u2063 as the\u200b rest of the book of Proverbs\u2064 illustrates for\u2062 us, and the\u200b knowledge that \u200bwe were made male and female in God\u2019s image is the only reliable foundation on which we can build a righteous view of men\u200b and \u2063women.<\/p>\n<p>No matter how you feel about \u201cwomen\u2019s rights,\u201d sex relations and modern feminism, the only truth that\u200b we can firmly rest our ideas \u200bupon \u2014 as well as use to do justice in society until the Lord\u2019s return\u2062 \u2014 is the\u200b perfectly logical truth of Scripture.<\/p>\n<p><em>A version of this article first appeared \u200din the Substack \u200c\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/isaryan.substack.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A Homemaker\u2019s Manifesto<\/a>.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n<p>The post <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/biblical-logic-vs-red-pill-not-enough-anti-feminist\/\">Biblical Logic\u2063 vs.\u200b the &#8216;Red Pill&#8217;: It&#8217;s\u2063 Not Enough\u2064 to Be Anti-Feminist<\/a> appeared first on <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\">The Western Journal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<h2> \u200bWhat are some strategies that can be employed to promote a positive narrative\u2062 that \u200dcelebrates the unique qualities and contributions of both men and women?<\/h2>\n<p><span> <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>One \u200bof\u200b the main issues with radical feminism is that it fails\u200c to acknowledge the \u2063very real struggles that women face in other parts of the\u200c world. They are forced into arranged marriages, subjected to domestic violence, and \u200clive under constant fear and surveillance. <\/p>\n<p>Yet, radical feminists seem to ignore\u2064 or downplay these issues in favor of focusing on relatively minor \u200bconcerns in \u200cthe West. This is \u2064not only \u200bhypocritical \u200dbut also detrimental \u200cto the cause \u200cof \u2064women&#8217;s rights\u200d worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>If we are truly \u2063concerned about the destruction caused by radical feminism, we need to broaden\u200b our perspective and consider the global context. Being anti-feminist is not \u2063enough; we must actively\u200d work towards promoting \u200cthe\u2064 rights and dignity of all women, regardless of where they live.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Building a Positive Narrative<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Instead of simply opposing feminism, we need to \u2062focus\u2063 on building a positive narrative that celebrates the unique qualities and contributions of both men and women. By promoting equality, mutual respect, and understanding, we can \u2063create a society where\u200b all individuals can \u2064thrive.<\/p>\n<p>This means recognizing\u2064 and valuing the differences between men and women, instead of \u2062trying to erase \u200dthem. \u2062It means encouraging women to pursue their\u200c passions and goals, while also recognizing the importance of family\u2063 and \u200cnurturing \u200drelationships.<\/p>\n<p>We must also address the root causes of inequality and injustice, such as poverty, \u2064lack of education, and cultural norms that perpetuate\u200d harmful practices. By addressing these\u200d issues, we can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/who-says-covid-pandemic-no-longer-a-global-emergency\/\" title=\"COVID pandemic no longer a global emergency, says WHO.\">create lasting change<\/a> and\u2063 empower women to \u2063reach their full potential.<\/p>\n<p>In conclusion, if you are concerned about the destruction caused by \u200dradical feminism, being anti-feminist is not \u2062enough. We need to\u2063 go beyond opposition and actively \u2062work towards promoting the rights and dignity \u200dof all women.
