Henry Cuellar<\/a> \u200bon Monday into an\u2064 attack on Republicans\u200c in Congress.<\/p>\n<p>But Fox News\u2019 Peter Doocy didn\u2019t let it go by.<\/p>\n<p>The moment came during the daily White House news briefing, when a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/media-say-bidens-female-led-comms-is-a-first-trump-has-that-now\/\" title=\"Media Say Biden's Female-Led Comms Is A First. Trump Has That Now\">press secretary<\/a> already known for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/doocy-presses-jean-pierres-claim-texas-az-busing-migrants-dc-problem\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">flaming partisanship<\/a> decided that when a Democratic congressman\u200b is carjacked in a Democratic \u2063city, where Democrats control all levers\u2064 of government and all public\u2062 services, that the group\u200c that\u2019s \u2063really to \u2063blame is \u2026 Republicans.<\/p>\n<p>And\u200d they\u2019re to blame for\u2064 failing to support\u200c a\u200d bill that the Democratic president signed into law more than two <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/black-mirror-season-six-gets-sucked-into-the-black-hole-of-modern-leftism\/\" title=\"'Black Mirror' Season Six Embraces Modern Leftism's Black Hole\">years\u2064 ago<\/a>, after it was passed by a Democratic Congress.<\/p>\n<p>Check it out here.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">DOOCY TIME: \u201cHow are \u200dyou\u2062 going\u200d to blame Republicans for [Cuellar being carjacked]?\u200b Isn\u2019t D.C. run by a \u200cbunch of Democrats?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>KJP: \u200b\u201cI\u2019m going to speak\u2062 to what\u2064 [Biden] \u2062 has done\u2026American Rescue Plan,\u2063 not \u2064Republican\u2026voted for \u2062it. \u200cNot one\u2026Billions of dollars\u2026to make sure\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/XlgKQ5Urr9\">pic.twitter.com\/XlgKQ5Urr9<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Curtis Houck (@CurtisHouck) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CurtisHouck\/status\/1709276862004756511?\">October 3,\u2063 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to the White\u200c House <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/press-briefings\/2023\/10\/03\/press-briefing-by-press-secretary-karine-<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/jen-psaki-says-shed-be-happy-to-take-on-kayleigh-mcenany-on-fox-news\/\" title=\"Jen Psaki Says She\u2019d Be \u2018Happy\u2019 To Take On Kayleigh McEnany On Fox News\u00a0\">jean-pierre<\/a>-and-nsc-coordinator-for-strategic-communications-john-kirby-19\/&#8221; target=&#8221;_blank&#8221; rel=&#8221;noopener&#8221;>transcript \u200bof the briefing<\/a>, Doocy was following\u2064 up\u200c on another reporter\u2019s question that asked whether President Joe\u2062 Biden had a comment about the carjacking, and what the crime might say \u201cmore broadly\u201d about \u201csafety \u2063and crime in the District.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jean-Pierre answered\u2062 that Biden had spoken \u200cto\u200b Cuellar (presumably wishing him\u2064 well, \u200bas do \u2064all \u2062decent Americans),\u200d but then pivoted to an utter \u2062non sequitur, claiming that Biden \u201cthrough the American \u2062Rescue Plan,\u201d had made \u201cbillions of dollars\u201d available\u200b at \u200bthe local level \u201cso that\u2063 they can \u200cmake sure that their communities were safe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Apparently, it never occurred \u200bto the\u200b press secretary that the argument\u2063 failed by its own logic, since the \u200ctopic of \u2063conversation \u2064proved at least one\u200c community is\u200d decidedly unsafe \u2014 the \u2063very Democratic Washington, D.C., where Biden received a Soviet-like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/roger-stone-says-indictment-trump-disqualifies-nearly-voters-dc-serving-jury\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">93 percent of the vote<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Doocy had the logical follow-up: \u201cHow are you going to blame Republicans for this?\u201d \u200dhe\u200c asked. \u201cIsn\u2019t \u200dD.C. run by a \u2062bunch of Democrats?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jean-Pierre didn\u2019t back\u200d down:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m going\u200c to speak to what the President has done,\u200d right?\u201d\u200c she \u2064said. \u201cThe \u200dPresident has been \u200cvery, very straightforward about what\u200b he has done \u200dto make sure that communities are safe.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe American Rescue\u2062 Plan \u2014 not one Republican in Congress voted for it. Not one.\u200c There were billions of dollars in that\u200d plan, in that \u2014 in that \u200cact\u200c to make sure communities\u200b across the country got funding so that they\u200d can indeed hire more police officers\u2064 so that they can keep their community safe.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRepublicans had nothing\u2062 to do with that. They were not involved in that. They decided not to vote on the \u200dAmerican Rescue Plan. That\u2019s just\u2062 a fact.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jean-Pierre\u2019s answer \u200chad a surreal, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-vp-harris-goes-viral-word-salad-moment-just-cant-stop-saying-passage-time\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kamala \u2062Harris-esque quality<\/a> to it: Apparently \u200cspoken in English, it was \u200bmade up of \u2062subject and\u2063 verbs, articles and objects, in grammatical order. \u2062But\u200c there was no\u2063 there there.<\/p>\n<p>Yes,\u200d it is a fact\u2063 that no Republican\u200d voted \u200bfor the American Rescue Plan \u2014 a\u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/senate-narrowly-passes-bidens-1-9-trillion-budget-bill\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">monstrosity of legislation<\/a> \u2062supposedly aimed at battling the COVID-19 pandemic. But that\u2019s a credit to the GOP,\u2063 since, as\u2062 Cuellar\u2019s experience might show, it\u2019s been about as effective at rescuing \u2062Americans as the Inflation\u2064 Reduction Act has been \u200bat <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/biden-truth-inflation-reduction-act-slip-wish-hadnt-called\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/sen-scott-warns-demonizing-police-officers-in-police-reform-efforts-will-lead-to-reduction-in-forces\/\" title=\"Sen. Scott warns demonizing police officers in police reform efforts will lead to reduction in forces\">reducing inflation<\/a><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>But that has about as much \u2064to do with the matter at hand as\u200d the fact that the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl \u200din February.<\/p>\n<p>The bill was\u200c passed. It was signed into law. American communities \u200csupposedly got safer. And Rep. Henry Cuellar got carjacked in D.C. on Monday, \u200bin an upscale neighborhood a mile from the Capitol.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to \u200bher Democratic Party affiliation, \u2063and no doubt the\u2062 fact \u2063that she\u2019s black, a woman and a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/bidens-press-sec-says-single-mom-now-separating-lesbian-partner\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lesbian<\/a>, KJP tends to get a free\u2063 pass from \u200bthe White House media (the very group \u2063of Americans that should <em>not<\/em> be going easy on her).<\/p>\n<p>But in the social media \u2063world, the audience is a lot \u2064tougher. And KJP was savaged.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">So republicans voted against something \u2063that\u200b ultimately passed that\u200c was supposed to help\u200c communities fight crime. How is it their fault? The press secretary wrapped up before many more questions could be asked \u2014 probably on purpose.<\/p>\n<p>But the fact is, \u2062she was nailed. Doocy knew it as well \u200das every honest man or woman in that briefing room knew it.\u200b The\u200d reckless Democratic\u2064 spending bills of the\u2062 first days of the Biden administration did nothing to advance the causes they claimed to, and everything to\u2062 help induce\u2063 the\u200c crippling \u2064inflation Americans\u2062 are \u2063experiencing today.<\/p>\n<p>KJP\u2019s \u201canswer\u201d to Doocy was a non-answer.
