Of these victims, 372 were victims of\u2062 sex\u200c trafficking, 10\u200d were victims of both \u200clabor and sex trafficking, and 38 were victims of labor trafficking. Additionally,\u2062 36 percent \u2064of \u200cthe\u2064 victims were under the age of 18, indicating a\u2062 significant increase compared to previous years.<\/p>\n<p>Heater urged others to join the fight against human trafficking by educating schools and communities about the dangerous factors contributing to this crime.
