Fujie, McBride\u2019s complaint was \u201clegally insufficient in its entirety\u201d following her\u2064 \u201cinvolvement in the theft\u201d and pointed out that McBride was indicted and pleaded no contest to charges of \u200creceiving stolen property in 2022, and was therefore \u201cnot\u2062 entitled to thereafter benefit from their wrongdoing by seeking to enforce the \u2063contract.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In February 2021, Gaga\u2019s bulldogs were \u200bstrolling through\u200c a Los Angeles\u200c neighborhood alongside\u2062 her\u2064 dog walker, Ryan Fischer, \u200cwhen he was suddenly held at gunpoint and the\u200c dogs were taken. Fischer suffered a collapsed lung\u2063 from the \u200dshooting. \u200d <\/p>\n<p>At the time \u2064of the incident, Gaga was out of the country. She took to\u200b social media to \u2064offer a $500,000 dollar \u201cno questions asked\u201d \u2064reward in exchange for the safe return of her dogs.<\/p>\n<p>Two days after the theft, McBride returned the bulldogs to a Los Angeles police station \u2064and immediately requested the reward.<\/p>\n<p>Three men and two accomplices, \u200bincluding McBride, were later \u2063charged in \u2063connection\u200d to the theft.
