For \u2064them, everything <i>except<\/i> abortion is considered crucial. We&#8217;ve all seen slogans like &#8220;My Body, My \u2062Choice&#8221; plastered\u200d across Planned Parenthood messaging for\u200d years.\u2062 However, the word &#8220;abortion&#8221; has become so stigmatized\u2063 that it&#8217;s\u200b being avoided altogether.<\/p>\n<p>But forget \u2063about choice, access, and healthcare \u200bas the main reasons\u2062 for supporting abortion. It&#8217;s all about \u200bfreedom now. As Austin \u200cPowers would \u2063say, &#8220;It&#8217;s freedom, baby,\u200d yeah!&#8221;\u2063 A recent Reuters article revealed\u200b a shift in the\u200b rhetoric surrounding abortion. Advocates are\u2064 now framing it\u200c as a matter\u200c of freedom.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s about freedom,&#8221; declared Hassan Martini, founder of the No \u2063Dem Left \u200cBehind PAC. \u2064Democratic strategist Jennifer Holdsworth \u2063echoed this sentiment, stating, &#8220;You can&#8217;t run \u2064a party talking about freedom and then base one of your major policies on\u200d taking one \u200bof the\u2064 most fundamental freedoms away from\u200c half the population.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>NARAL Pro-Choice\u200c America has even \u2062decided to rebrand itself \u2064as Reproductive Freedom for All (except for\u200b those in the womb, of\u2064 course). It&#8217;s clear\u200c that the word &#8220;choice&#8221;\u200d is \u2063losing \u200dits appeal.<\/p>\n<h3>The Hypocrisy of the Pro-Abortion Left<\/h3>\n<p>It&#8217;s \u200bworth\u200b noting the extreme \u2062lack of choice offered by \u200babortion-supporting legislators on \u2062other \u2063issues. While they champion the freedom\u200b to choose when it \u2062comes to \u200dabortion, they often disregard the choices of those who disagree\u2064 with them.\u2064 Consider national vaccine \u2064mandates, school lockdowns, violations of the right to assembly, and the disdain for free speech\u2063 if it \u200cdoesn&#8217;t align with their views.<\/p>\n<p>So, choice is being pushed aside. It seems that abortion\u200c advocates have taken a page out of \u2063Saul Alinsky&#8217;s &#8220;Rules for Radicals,&#8221; specifically Rule 7: &#8220;A\u200d tactic \u200bthat \u2064drags on\u200c too \u2063long \u200dbecomes a\u2064 drag.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>But \u200bwhat about the true meaning of freedom?\u2063 Our country was \u2062founded on the principles of freedom and liberty for all. Our\u2062 government was meant to serve \u2063and protect \u200dthe rights of its\u2063 people. As we embark on a road \u2062trip exploring the historical sites of\u2064 our nation, we are\u200b reminded of the spirit of freedom that our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-founding-fathers-6-prophetic-warnings-that-are-coming-true\/\" title=\"The Founding Fathers: 6 Prophetic Warnings That Are Coming True\">founding fathers envisioned<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In his State of\u2062 the \u200dUnion \u200cAddress in 1941, President Franklin\u2064 D. These freedoms \u200bwere meant to foster social\u200c harmony, peace, \u2062and the\u2063 ability to express one&#8217;s deepest values\u200b and beliefs. Nowhere\u2062 in\u200d these \u2063freedoms\u2064 do we find the right to end the lives of others.<\/p>\n<p>Even the pro-abortion \u2063Left doesn&#8217;t fully\u2063 believe in their \u2064own rhetoric when it comes to\u2063 their own families. \u2062As Kathleen Parker, \u200ban op-ed\u2062 columnist for the Washington Post,\u200d powerfully\u200b expressed, \u200dwhen she became \u200cpregnant, she realized\u2064 that she\u200c was\u200b a vessel for another autonomous \u200clife. It\u2062 was her job to protect that life,\u2063 even though \u2064it was her body.<\/p>\n<p>The \u2064rebranding from &#8220;My Body, My \u200bChoice&#8221; to\u2062 &#8220;Let\u2062 Americans enjoy their freedoms&#8221; is nothing more than a \u200dsubversive tactic to mask\u200c the\u2063 broken truth \u200dof choice. Not all choices are \u2062created equal, and it&#8217;s\u200d not\u2063 freedom to end an \u2064innocent life.
