No matter \u2063what, she doesn\u2019t give up.<\/h2>\n<p>The Georgia representative has been at \u200cthe forefront of <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mtgreenee\/status\/1458660050403311621?\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">speaking up for defendants<\/a> incarcerated because of their involvement in the Capitol incursion of Jan. \u20626, 2021. For more than two years, she has argued that \u200dtheir prosecutions are the result of a double standard, and now she has a \u2064new way of making her point.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday surveillance\u200d video captured \u2064 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/dem-rep-jamaal-bowman-admits-pulling-fire-alarm-critical-vote-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Democratic \u200dRep. \u200cJamaal \u2064Bowman<\/a> of New York, a member of the\u200b far \u2063left \u201csquad,\u201d triggering a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fncs-carlson-its-time-for-the-democrats-to-accept-their-victory-forgive-the-team-they-beat-and-to-move-on-you-won-be-happy\/\" title=\"FNC's Carlson: It's Time for the Democrats to 'Accept Their Victory,' 'Forgive the Team They Beat and to Move On' -- 'You Won, Be Happy'\">fire alarm<\/a> in \u200bone \u2062of the House of Representatives\u2019 three office buildings.<\/p>\n<p>Bowman claimed that he \u200dhad activated\u200d the fire alarm \u201cmistakenly thinking \u200cit would open the door.\u201d \u200bHe said he was \u2064trying to get to the\u200d House floor to vote on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/resolution-drafted-expel-democrat-congressman-accused-trying-obstruct-bill\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">continuing resolution<\/a> to keep the government open.<\/p>\n<p>In response, Greene recorded a video showing how clearly the fire alarm \u2064in the Cannon building is marked and how easy it is to exit the\u200c building if the doors\u200d are closed for the weekend.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Let me show you how easy it is \u2063to exit\u200d the Cannon building if \u2063doors are \u200cclosed for the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>No need \u2062to pull a fire alarm, you simply have to walk down \u2062some steps.<\/p>\n<p>Jamaal Bowman knew what\u2062 he \u2062was doing. He was trying to interrupt the vote.<\/p>\n<p>Bowman needs to be arrested \u200dand\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/PQuI6kk0sX\">pic.twitter.com\/PQuI6kk0sX<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014\u2062 Rep.\u2062 Marjorie Taylor \u200cGreene (@RepMTG) \u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepMTG\/status\/1708928278747074624?\">October 2, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis right here is a \u2064fire \u2063alarm,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/hardball-marjorie-taylor-greene-threatens-government-shutdown-unless-biden-impeachment-inquiry-vote-happens\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Greene<\/a> said \u200bin the video, like a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/mtg-shows-democrat-who-pulled-fire-alarm-how-easy-it-is-to-exit-building-the-correct-way\/\" title=\"MTG Demonstrates Proper Building Exit to Democrat Who Triggered Fire Alarm\">kindergarten teacher explaining basic \u2062door opening rules<\/a> to \u200b5-year-olds. \u201cNowhere does it say, \u2018pull the fire alarm to open the exit doors.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Greene then explained to viewers that during the week, the door\u200c to the building is open to exit, but during the weekend, it\u200c is not.\u00a0 However, there are two\u200c other ways to exit through the building that \u2063Bowman would have known to take, including taking the stairs to\u200c a tunnel\u200c in the basement that goes to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/fbi-hq-conducted-internal-poll-find-many-informants-capitol-jan-6-official-says\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Capitol<\/a> \u2062 that\u2019s often\u200d used use in bad weather.<\/p>\n<p>Pulling the fire alarm \u2063was not\u2064 one\u200b of the ways.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo let\u2019s explain it very clearly again,\u201d\u200d Greene said. \u201cJamal Bowman didn\u2019t pull the fire\u200c alarm to try to get out\u200c of the \u200dbuilding because he had to rush to \u200dgo vote. I know for a fact because I\u2062 also work at the Cannon office building, and I watched\u2064 Katherine Clark, the Democrat whip, make a motion to \u200badjourn \u2026 and then, within minutes, Jamaal\u2064 Bowman pulled the fire alarm. Republicans need to instead focus their \u200denergy on the Nazi members of their party\u2064 before \u2064anything else.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When the memo came \u200cto light, Bowman tried \u200bto\u200b walk back the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/jamaal-bowman-begs-fellow-dems-support-fire-alarm-fiasco-shifts-blame-nazi-republicans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cNazi\u201d comment<\/a>, posting on X: \u201cI just became aware that in our messaging \u200cguidance,\u200c there was inappropriate use of the term Nazi without \u200bmy consent. I\u2064 condemn the use\u200d of the term Nazi out of its precise definition. Greene is not the one who tried to evade responsibility by claiming ignorance. Greene is \u200bnot the \u200cone who resorted to \u200bpersonal attacks \u2062when \u2064challenged\u200b on her \u200bactions. Greene is the \u200done who simply presented \u2063the facts in a video recording\u2064 and\u2062 let viewers draw their own\u200d conclusions.<\/p>\n<p>But let\u2019s not \u2064forget that this \u200bis not the first time Greene has been\u200c an unwavering voice for those \u2064facing\u200d prosecution for their involvement \u200bin the Capitol incursion. In May, she <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-mt-greene-special-delivery-nancy-pelosis-office-speaker-orders-aoc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">delivered \u2063letters<\/a> to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi \u2062and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez calling for a debate on the\u2062 treatment of those\u200d held in pretrial\u2063 detention for the events of Jan. 6.<\/p>\n<p>Greene has not wavered in her support\u200b of these defendants, even as she has faced backlash and controversy \u200bfor her actions. She has remained steadfast in\u2062 her belief that these individuals deserve fair treatment and due process under the law.<\/p>\n<p>In today\u2019s political climate, it is unfortunately rare to see a\u2063 lawmaker who is \u2064unafraid to stand up \u200dfor \u2064what they\u2062 believe in, regardless of the backlash they may face.\u200c But Rep.
