Today, Yezhov is the primary example of how the Soviet regime would make someone \u201cdisappear,\u201d as if they never existed, literally erasing them from the\u2064 historical record.<\/p>\n<p>Disappearing people in this way is something tyrannical dictatorships do because they feel \u200dno accountability to the people over whom they rule. Whatever the regime says, no matter how\u2064 outlandish or patently\u2064 false, is reality. Here\u2019s what happened. During a series of contentious spending votes on Saturday ahead of \u200ba \u2064<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/exclusive-conservatives-sound-the-alarm-chuck-schumer-trying-to-inject-weak-china-bill-laced-with-critical-race-theory-into-defense-bill\/\" title=\"Exclusive \u2014 Conservatives Sound the Alarm: Chuck Schumer Trying to Inject Weak China Bill Laced with Critical Race Theory into Defense Bill\">looming government shutdown<\/a>, while House Democrats were trying to slow-walk a vote, Democrat Rep. Jamaal Bowman\u200c pulled a fire alarm in a House office building\u200b on Capitol Hill, forcing an evacuation.<\/p>\n<p>Bowman\u2019s\u2063 stunt, which is under investigation \u2063by Capitol Police, was caught\u200d on a security\u2063 camera. It\u2019s clear he pulled the fire alarm as a delaying tactic, precisely to force the evacuation of the\u200c building and disrupt official congressional business (the kind of \u200cthing\u2064 the media would call an \u201cinsurrection\u201d if a Republican had done it.)\u200b Indeed, there\u2019s no other reasonable way to interpret his actions. Everyone who has ever attended\u200d school knows what \u200da\u200c fire alarm is and what happens\u2063 when you pull it \u2014 including Bowman, a former school principal.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s where things get a little Soviet. In the aftermath\u2064 of the evacuation, Bowman <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/live-updates\/2023\/10\/02\/congress\/bowmans-damage-control-00119493\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">insisted \u200bit was an accident<\/a> \u2014 not that he pulled the alarm by accident, since the video footage clearly shows him doing so intentionally, but that <em>he didn\u2019t know what would happen when he pulled it<\/em>. \u201cI was just trying to \u2064get to\u2063 my vote,\u201d he said. \u201cThe door that\u02bcs\u2064 usually open wasn\u02bct open. The sort \u2063of patently false thing no one in his right mind would ever believe or even try to explain. Just a bone-crushingly idiotic fiction that requires us to believe Bowman is mentally \u2064ill or psychotic. Every single person\u200d in Washington knows it\u2019s not true.<\/p>\n<p>And yet, every single Democrat and \u200cthe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/heres-why-the-medias-lies-about-rep-jamaal-bowman-should-concern-you\/\" title=\"Media's lies about Rep. He thought \u200cit would open the door, OK? How many of\u200d us have encountered a locked door and immediately pulled the nearest fire\u200b alarm? Right? Over \u200bthe last few\u200d years of the Biden \u2063administration, this sort of thing\u200b has become commonplace. Democrats, sometimes President Biden himself, will\u200c do or say something outrageous and unbelievable, and the\u2064 press will either ignore it and pretend it didn\u2019t happen or \u2064offer an\u2064 explanation so disconnected from reality that only a total lack of accountability or any respect for\u200d their audience can explain it.<\/p>\n<p>When the government and\u200c the establishment press just spout the most outlandish lies and excuses, demanding we believe them, \u200cit\u2019s much more \u200cdangerous and frankly tyrannical than a government and press that subtly or believably lies.<\/p>\n<p>When governments and politicians and the\u200d media dissimulate reality in this blatant way, it suggests they no longer \u2062respect or \u200cfeel accountable to the \u2062populace, and are \u200cconfident that all pretense to the\u2064 naked \u2063exercise of power can be dropped. They will simply tell you what to believe, what reality is, and you will accept it \u2014 no matter what your lying eyes \u2064tell you.<\/p>\n<p>If\u200b they tell\u200b you Bowman was trying\u200c to open the door by pulling the fire alarm, you will accept it. \u2062If \u200cthey tell you Joe Biden never discussed or \u200bhad any knowledge of his son\u2019s overseas business schemes, \u200byou will accept it. If they tell you Yezhov was\u200d never at the Moscow Canal with Stalin, you\u200b will accept it. \u2062You\u2019d better accept it, or else.<\/p>\n<p>More than jack-booted government thugs in the streets, more than a weaponized DOJ and \u2062FBI, that kind of \u200dlying is a naked exercise of power over \u200cand against the American people.
