He\u2019s a clutch player,&#8221; Staley said.<\/p>\n<p>Herbert, who downplayed the injury \u2064by referring \u2063to it as \u200da flesh\u2063 wound, \u2063will undergo further \u2063tests to determine its severity.<\/p>\n<p>The good news for Herbert and the Chargers (2\u20132) is\u2063 that they have a bye week ahead.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s never really a question. It was just getting fixed \u2063up\u200d and going back out\u200b there,\u201d he said. \u2064\u201cThe pain level is \u2064not \u2063bad.
