Dean Phillips Steps Down from House Democratic Leadership<\/h2>\n<p>Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN) has made the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/how-brexit-saved-britain\/\" title=\"How Brexit Saved Britain\">bold decision<\/a> \u2063to step down from his role in House Democratic \u200bLeadership. Why? Despite consistently \u2063voting in support of Biden&#8217;s position,\u2063 Phillips has been vocal in his disagreements with the\u2062 president \u200cfor months.<\/p>\n<p>Phillips, who represents a Minnesota district\u2064 that was once\u200d deep red, flipped it in\u200b 2018. In August,\u2062 he called on Democrats to find an alternative candidate to \u200drun against Biden in 2024. He has even mulled\u2063 over the idea of\u2064 his own potential bid against the sitting president.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;I am thinking about it. I haven&#8217;t ruled it out,&#8221;\u200d Phillips said on a podcast. &#8220;I&#8217;m\u200c concerned that there \u2062is no alternative.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Phillips has also\u200d made waves within\u2063 his party by being the first Democrat to call\u200d on Sen.
