Keith Davids, commander of Naval Special Warfare Command,\u200b who emphasized the \u200cimportance of maintaining the distinguished standards of excellence that define \u200dthe \u200bNavy&#8217;s special forces.<\/p>\n<p>The Associated Press\u2062 reported that steroid\u200d use \u2062has been a &#8220;somewhat limited but persistent\u2064 problem&#8221; among these units. As a \u200dresult, the Navy has decided to take\u200c action\u200d and implement random testing for four units each month, with approximately 15 percent of each unit being tested. This equates to around \u200d200 \u2063individuals being tested per month.<\/p>\n<p>Violators of the new \u2064policy will\u2063 face disciplinary action, highlighting the Navy&#8217;s commitment to\u200d eradicating unauthorized and unsupervised use of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/s-d-gov-noem-rejects-transgender-sports-bill-sends-back-for-lawmakers-to-revise\/\" title=\"S.D. However, the Navy acknowledges\u2064 that some members may have legitimate\u2063 medical\u2064 conditions that \u2062<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/navy-to-start-testing-special-operators-for-performance-enhancing-drugs\/\" title=\"Navy to test special operators for performance-enhancing drugs.\">require prescription supplementation<\/a>. In \u2064such \u200ccases, the Navy\u200d encourages these individuals to\u2063 consult with their medical providers for proper diagnosis and treatment.<\/p>\n<p>The cost of implementing this testing program\u200c is estimated to be around $4.5 million per year for the next two years.<\/p>\n<p>This\u2064 initiative follows a previous program \u2062conducted between February\u200d 2022 and \u200dMarch 2023,\u2064 during which approximately 2,500 screenings were carried\u200b out.
