According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/arts-culture\/music\/irs-taylor-swift-eras-tickets-beyonce-lionel-messi-tax-480d346c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The \u200cWall Street Journal<\/a>, ticket-selling\u200b platforms like \u2064StubHub and \u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-democratic-senators-taylor-swift-joke-falls-flat-ticketmaster-site-crash-hearing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ticketmaster<\/a> \u200cwill \u2064now have to provide the IRS with information \u2063on users who sold more than $600 worth of tickets this year.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/desantis-admin-offers-to-help-taylor-swift-fans-after-irs-begins-to-target-them\/\" title=\"DeSantis Admin supports Taylor Swift fans targeted by IRS.\">secondhand ticket market experienced<\/a> a boom in 2023 thanks to Taylor Swift&#8217;s sold-out &#8220;Eras&#8221; tour. However, this surge in\u2064 demand left many\u200d Swifties with empty wallets as they\u200c had to pay \u200dthousands of dollars to see their favorite singer live.<\/p>\n<p>StubHub reported that Swift concert tickets sold \u2063for an average of $1,095 on \u2064their platform.
