Despite warnings from his fellow Republicans\u2064 that \u200dhe\u200d was breaking the\u200b rules, Moore failed to gather support for his proposed actions and has been suspended from his caucus.<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>On September 28, the Georgia Senate Republicans \u200cmade a bold statement on social media, announcing\u200d Moore&#8217;s &#8220;indefinite&#8221; suspension from the \u2063Republican \u200bcaucus.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&#8220;Despite the overwhelming consensus among 32 out of 33 Republican State Senators, the Governor, Lt. This has put his Caucus colleagues and their families at\u2062 risk\u2062 of personal harm,&#8221; the statement \u200breads.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s important to \u2064note that Moore has not been suspended\u200d from his elected\u200d office, but only from caucusing with the Republican majority.<\/p>\n<p>The caucus \u200bclarified \u200bthat while they strongly disagree with Moore&#8217;s proposal to\u200b investigate Willis, his suspension is\u200b not solely based on his position.\u200b Moore, however, disputes this claim.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Senator Moore\u2063 was informed that he has violated multiple Caucus Rules on multiple occasions and\u2063 was given every opportunity to simply adhere to the\u200b Rules going forward, rather than persisting with his misguided policy position,&#8221; they stated,\u2064 without specifying which rules\u2062 were broken.<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>&#8220;Unfortunately, he has \u2062refused and was suspended by Leadership from participating in the Caucus until he \u2062agrees\u200c to abide \u2063by the Rules which he voted\u200c for at the beginning of the term,&#8221; the\u2064 statement reads. &#8220;The \u200bMajority Caucus understands that \u2062we are stronger \u200dwhen unified and hopes Senator Moore will rejoin us in the future as we <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/georgia-senator-demanding-fani-willis-investigation-suspended-by-republicans\/\" title=\"Republican Party suspends Georgia Senator demanding Fani Willis investigation.\">continue delivering winning\u200b conservative policy solutions<\/a> for our state.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2>Moore Response<\/h2>\n<p>After leaving the \u2062state capitol on Thursday, Moore didn&#8217;t \u200chold back.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>&#8220;The knives\u2064 are out,&#8221; Moore \u200bexclaimed during \u200can interview on Steve\u2062 Bannon&#8217;s podcast. &#8220;They have cut me out of the Republican caucus. The senator who fought the hardest\u200d against Fani\u2063 Willis, the\u200d most MAGA [Make America Great Again], the most Republican senator, has been \u2064ousted from the Republican caucus today. It&#8217;s truly unbelievable.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Moore asserted\u2064 that \u2064his fellow senators&#8217; constituents also want them to take action against Fani Willis.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My constituents don&#8217;t want their hard-earned tax dollars funding Fani Willis,&#8221; he emphasized.<\/p>\n<p>On August 14,\u200c a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/afghan-refugees-in-us-indicted-on-assault-charges\/\" title=\"Afghan Refugees in US Indicted on Assault Charges\">grand jury issued<\/a>\u200b a 98-page indictment charging\u200b former\u200b President Donald Trump and 18\u200b co-defendants with violating Georgia&#8217;s Racketeer Influenced\u200b and Corrupt Organizations (RICO)\u200d Act, along with 40 other crimes. Willis is \u200bthe prosecutor in this case, alleging that the defendants&#8217;\u2064 actions in challenging the 2020 election \u200bresults constituted a &#8220;racketeering criminal enterprise conspiracy.&#8221; All 19 defendants have \u2062pleaded\u2063 not \u2064guilty to the charges.<\/p>\n<p>Despite his suspension from the \u200dcaucus, \u200bMoore expressed a sense of\u200d liberation.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I have never felt more liberated,&#8221; he declared. &#8220;Even though I&#8217;ve been\u2063 ousted from the caucus, I will continue fighting\u2062 and being the most \u2064pro-MAGA senator this state has ever seen.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Moore revealed that his colleagues accused him \u2063of making comments on his show that &#8220;have caused threats \u2063to fellow senators,&#8221; but failed \u200bto\u2062 provide any evidence \u2063to support \u2062their claims.<\/p>\n<p>According\u2064 to \u2063Moore, they offered \u200dhim the option\u200b to\u200c remain in the\u2064 caucus if \u200bhe stopped advocating\u200b for the special session.<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>&#8220;I will not compromise \u2063my\u2062 freedom of speech in defense of freedom\u200c itself. That&#8217;s what got us into this mess in \u2064the first place,&#8221; he asserted, arguing that the 19 defendants are being charged for actions that should be protected under \u2062the First Amendment.<\/p>\n<h2>Special Session Proposal<\/h2>\n<p>Shortly after\u2062 the indictment of President Trump and 18 others, Moore \u200dpublicly \u2062accused Willis of corruption.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&#8220;As a Georgia State Senator, I am officially calling for an emergency session to review the actions of\u200b Fani Willis,&#8221; he declared in a statement, urging Georgia Governor\u2063 Brian Kemp \u200bto convene\u200c a special session to investigate Willis.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Corrupt District Attorney Fani Willis may be abusing her position\u2062 of power by targeting former President Donald J. Trump. I am urging my colleagues in the Georgia legislature to join me in calling for an emergency session to investigate and review her actions, and determine if\u200c they warrant\u200c impeachment.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>For his \u2064proposal to succeed, Moore would have\u200d needed the support of three-fifths of both \u200dchambers of the state legislature. However, as of\u200c September 6, he claimed \u2063to\u2062 have only secured three signatures.<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>&#8220;Ironically, it is the Republicans who are standing in the way,&#8221; Moore \u200cstated at the time, vowing not to let his \u2064colleagues\u2064 hinder\u200b his efforts \u2064to initiate an investigation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Separately, Rep.
