My son immediately walked out.<\/p>\n<p>My son \u2063located the principal and explained\u2063 that his parents wouldn\u2019t \u2062want him to stay in class because \u200dthe substitute \u201cwas a man, \u2062dressed as a woman \u200dwith\u200b fake boobs and \u2062everything.\u201d He was right. I\u2064 immediately \u200dcollected him and,\u2063 the very next evening, <a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/866818254#t=1065s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">dressed down<\/a> the school board at their conveniently timed meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Because we live in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/nolte-bumbling-bidens-job-approval-crashes-to-record-low-39-percent\/\" title=\"Nolte: Bumbling Biden's Job Approval Crashes to Record Low 39 Percent\">deep blue city<\/a>, my husband and I have been very purposeful about arming our three children with information to immunize\u2064 them from the ever-present woke virus. That means my son is \u2062more\u200c informed than\u200d I\u2019d prefer on the \u2062difference between \u2062 <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/01\/06\/if-states-followed-the-science-theyd-emulate-europe-to-protect-kids-with-gender-dysphoria\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">gender\u2063 dysphoria<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/22005209\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">autogynephilia<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Because he\u2019s a 10-year-old boy, he \u200bwas unable to give me a\u200b blow-by-blow of \u2062what exactly transpired that morning, but he was clear about\u2064 two things \u2014 \u200chis parents are the \u200cultimate \u200bauthority on educational matters, and \u2062men can\u2019t \u200bbecome women.<\/p>\n<p>That \u2064kind of clarity doesn\u2019t happen by accident. It must\u200b be deliberately constructed over the course \u2063of a child\u2019s development. In this culture, which is hell-bent\u2063 on \u200cvictimizing children, it\u2019s something that every parent needs to take seriously. That\u2019s what I cover\u2062 with my \u200cco-author Katy Faust in our new book,\u200b <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B0BYXFXL18\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Raising \u200cConservative Kids in \u2063a Woke \u200dCity<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The woke will find your \u200ckids\u200d no matter where they are. Maybe the assault doesn\u2019t come \u200bin the form of \u2062a potentially perverted, autogynephilic substitute teacher. Perhaps it will be\u200c more \u2064subtle and\u200d creep in quietly as a transgender beaver with double mastectomy scars\u2064 in the \u200bpreviously safe kids\u2019\u200b television program \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/02\/16\/the-new-blues-clues-is-a-woke-puppy-peddling-gender-identity-propaganda-to-children\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Blue\u2019s \u200bClues<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Or it sneaks its way in \u200cvia\u200b the book\u2063 bag of\u200b a new babysitter who fancies herself a social justice warrior, and her \u2064chosen bedtime\u2064 stories are \u2063 <em>Feminist Baby<\/em> \u200b and <em>What\u2019s an Abortion, Anyway?<\/em> Or maybe you mistakenly\u2064 sent them to a woke \u200bband camp and the icebreaker is a \u201cprivilege walk.\u201d Whether your children \u2064are homeschooled, enrolled in \u200ca private school, or attending public schools, they will eventually encounter \u2064the woke, and, unless\u2063 you\u200b equip your\u200c children to wage this intellectual war,\u2063 they \u2063will be devoured.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve raised our kids in arguably one of the most hostile fronts of the \u2064culture war,\u200d Seattle,\u2064 and our\u2063 book outlines age-appropriate parenting strategies that have allowed us to inculcate our values in our children, even when everything is against us.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Different Parenting Stages<\/h2>\n<p>The reason my \u2062child was \u200dcapable\u200c of turning tail\u200b and leaving that classroom is because he\u2063 has been\u200b taught economic, biological, and historical \u200dtruth \u200bthroughout his elementary years. The aim during that first phase\u200d of worldview training is to filter out distortions and fill his \u2064mind with facts, truth, and beauty about the critical and complementary\u2064 differences between men and women, the importance\u2064 of family, and the\u2063 dangers\u200c of the state. He doesn\u2019t know everything, but he\u2019s \u200dhad enough of \u2064an education on\u2064 the glorious and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/our-public-school-put-a-man-with-fake-breasts-in-our-10-year-olds-classroom\/\" title=\"A man with fake breasts was placed in our 10-year-old's classroom at our public school.\">immutable male\/female\u2062 distinctions<\/a> to spot the lie when\u200b he walked into \u200chis classroom.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019ve \u2062got middle\u2064 schoolers, you\u2019re engaged in a different <em>Raising Conservative Kids<\/em> \u200dparenting stage.\u2062 In this phase you aren\u2019t\u2063 filtering out distortions, you\u2019re \u2062helping them to\u200d construct their own filter.<\/p>\n<p>You do that by studying woke \u200cdistortions\u2064 with\u200c them, such as critical race theory, the 1619\u2063 Project and \u2064its obnoxious historical lies, the harms\u200b of chemical and surgical abortions, the pitfalls of modern\u200d families, and the\u2064 atrocities\u200b of\u2062 socialist \u201cutopias.\u201d \u2062Your knee-jerk\u2063 response might be to believe your middle schooler is too young for such \u2062high-level discussions, but if someone is\u200d talking to them about these topics and how to view them, that somebody needs to be \u200cyou.<\/p>\n<p>If \u200dyou\u2019re winning at\u2062 this parenting \u200cgig, by the time your kids enter high \u200bschool you have graduated from helping them build their middle\u200d school filter, \u200bto \u200cbeing their consultant \u2014 always ready to send\u200b sources when they\u2019re in the\u200d midst of a pro-life discussion, pray for them when they\u200c are about\u200d to \u200cgive\u2063 a presentation on Second Amendment \u2064rights, and laugh at the rest of woke garbage\u200c they encounter at school \u200band online\u200b and in media.\u200c The aim \u2063during this phase is to\u200c stay connected \u2063to your \u200dalmost-adults. \u200dWhile they (hopefully) \u200dno\u2064 longer need you \u200dto do their laundry, \u2062pack their lunches, or wipe their noses, in high school, they \u2063need you emotionally\u200b as much ever.<\/p>\n<p>If you follow our <em>Raising Conservative Kids<\/em> prescription, \u2063your high \u200bschoolers \u200bwill have had years\u2063 of a \u200dslow \u2062worldview handoff and be well-versed \u200bin the \u200cimportance of \u200cattacking\u200c ideas,\u2063 not people.\u2064 They have found their people, and they know that you\u2063 can handle and help with anything they bring to you.<\/p>\n<p>With investment,\u200c protection, and age-appropriate exposure \u2063to the lies our culture is steeped in, \u200cit is possible, even living in the darkest blue city, to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/how-to-raise-sane-kids-when-leaving-public-schools-is-not-an-easy-option\/\" title=\"How To Raise Sane Kids When Leaving Public Schools Is Not An Easy Option\">raise conservative kids<\/a>. Kids who \u200cknow\u200b to turn tail\u200b and protect themselves from sexual \u2062deviants at\u2062 the\u200d tender age of 10,\u2062 because they\u2019ve been taught truth in this world of lies.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\">\n<\/div>\n<p> <\/p>\n<h2> How \u200dcan parents effectively teach their children about\u2064 the importance of limited government, individual freedom, and personal responsibility in a\u2062 way that encourages\u200c critical thinking and the\u2062 formation of independent opinions?<\/h2>\n<p><span>  Focus on deepening their \u2062understanding of conservative principles and\u200b values. This includes teaching them about the importance of limited government, individual freedom, and personal responsibility. It also involves discussing current events and political issues to\u200c help them develop critical \u2062thinking skills \u200dand the ability to form their own opinions.<\/p>\n<p>Teenagers, in the third stage of parenting conservative kids,\u2064 need to be\u200b prepared to defend their \u2063beliefs and values in a confrontational and\u200b often hostile environment. This is where discussions around\u2063 conservatism and its opposition, such as woke ideology, become more complex and nuanced. They need to understand the arguments \u2064of the other side, be able \u200cto articulate their own beliefs clearly, and confidently engage in respectful debates.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout all these stages, \u2063parents play a crucial role in shaping the worldview of their\u2063 children. They must be intentional and deliberate in providing them\u200c with the necessary knowledge and tools to navigate the challenges of a woke society. This includes communicating openly with their children, answering their\u200b questions\u200c honestly, and encouraging them\u200d to think critically.<\/p>\n<p>However, it is not enough for parents to solely \u2063rely on their own efforts. They also need\u200b to seek out conservative \u2064resources,\u200c organizations, and\u2062 communities that can \u200csupport them in their parenting journey. These can provide valuable guidance, advice, and a sense of camaraderie in navigating the challenges \u2063of raising conservative\u2063 kids.<\/p>\n<p>In conclusion, raising conservative kids in \u2064a woke city requires thoughtful\u200d and deliberate action. It involves equipping children with the knowledge, values, and critical thinking skills to navigate\u200c a society that often goes against their beliefs.
