However, when \u200cit comes to COVID-19 vaccines, the\u2062 resistance is unique.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, 90 \u200bpercent of parents stated \u200bthat they keep their children up-to-date on vaccines, which aligns \u200dwith the findings of a \u200dJuly 2021 poll by KFF. However, 43 percent of parents believe that they should have the \u200bfreedom to decide against vaccinating their children,\u200d even \u2063if it <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ohios-chemical-disaster-rages-on\/\" title=\"Ohio's Chemical Disaster Rages On\">poses health risks<\/a> to others. Among parents and non-parents, Democrats\u200c were \u2062more likely to oppose this freedom compared to independents\u200b and Republicans.<\/p>\n<p>When seeking information on vaccines, respondents \u200dtrusted their\u2063 healthcare providers and child&#8217;s pediatricians the most, followed by \u200cpharmacists, the CDC, \u2062<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/most-children-wont-get-new-covid-19-vaccines-parents-say-poll\/\" title=\"Parents say most children won't receive new COVID-19 vaccines: Poll.\">local \u200bpublic health departments<\/a>, the FDA, health insurers, and their \u200dchild&#8217;s school \u2062or \u200ddaycare. Notably, the \u200dmedia and literature were not listed as options for information sources.<\/p>\n<p>It is worth mentioning that Republicans were less likely to\u200d trust\u2063 health officials and\u2063 agencies, including the\u2064 CDC.<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>&#8220;The poll shows \u200bthat most of the nation\u2063 still trusts the CDC and\u2064 the FDA on vaccines\u2014but there is a partisan\u2062 gap, and\u200d most Republicans don\u2019t\u200b trust the\u200b nation\u2019s regulatory and scientific agencies responsible for vaccine approval and guidance,&#8221; said Drew Altman, KFF&#8217;s \u2063president and\u2064 CEO.<\/p>\n<h2>More Adults Express Willingness \u200dto Get Vaccinated<\/h2>\n<p>A \u200bhigher percentage of \u200cadults now indicate their intention to receive one of \u200bthe new COVID-19 \u2062vaccines.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>According to the survey, 23 percent of respondents, including \u200b34 percent\u200d of those aged 65 and\u200d older, stated\u2064 that they would definitely receive one of\u2064 the new shots. Democrats were more likely to express willingness,\u200d with 42 percent stating they would definitely get vaccinated, compared to 21 \u200bpercent of independents and 8 percent of Republicans. \u2063Additionally, those who had previously received a vaccine were \u2062more likely to consider\u200d getting vaccinated, while \u200dthe majority of unvaccinated individuals expressed \u2062their reluctance.<\/p>\n<p>Similar trends \u2063were observed in earlier surveys\u2063 conducted by IPSOS KnowledgePanel and\u2062 NORC \u200cAmeriSpeak Omnibus in August. These surveys, which were shared with the CDC, revealed that 25 percent of \u200dadults definitely planned to get \u2062vaccinated, while 17.6 percent probably would, 13.6 percent probably would not, 25.7 percent definitely would not,\u200b and the rest were unsure. The combined surveys covered 4,299 individuals.<\/p>\n<p>The introduction \u200dof bivalent vaccines\u200d from Moderna and Pfizer in the fall of 2022 aimed to address waning effectiveness. However,\u2064 only 20.5 percent of adults and 4.6 percent of children received these vaccines,\u2063 according to the most recent\u2062 CDC \u200cdata available until May\u200c 10. \u2064Previous surveys\u200c conducted \u200din June indicated \u2064that the demand for \u200bthe new vaccines would primarily come \u200bfrom those who were\u2063 already vaccinated.<\/p>\n<p>Concerns about COVID-19 vaccines include worries about unknown side\u200b effects, known side effects\u2064 such as heart \u200cinflammation, and a\u200b lack of trust in the\u2064 government and pharmaceutical companies. \u200cDr. Paul\u200d Offit, a vaccine inventor \u2063who\u2062 advises the FDA, mentioned in \u200da recent video that\u2062 heart inflammation and\u200b related conditions may have long-lasting effects.<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>While some patients have recovered from \u200cinflammation over time, others continue \u200bto\u200b experience symptoms\u200d years\u2062 later.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p> <\/p>\n<h2> Which groups\u2064 were identified as \u200cbeing more hesitant or unwilling to \u2063receive\u2064 the vaccine?<\/h2>\n<p><span>  Eive the\u2062 COVID-19 vaccine, according to\u2062 the survey. In September, 71 percent of adults said they had already received at least\u200d one\u200d dose of the vaccine, while an additional 7 percent said they would definitely get vaccinated. This is an increase from earlier this\u2064 year when 67 percent of adults stated that they had \u200breceived the vaccine.<\/p>\n<p>However,\u200c vaccine hesitancy persists among certain groups. The survey found that rural\u2062 residents, \u2064Republicans, and adults \u200dwithout a \u200dcollege degree were more likely\u2064 to be\u2063 hesitant \u2062or unwilling to receive the vaccine.
