Her family is\u200d now suing the hospital for failing to properly diagnose \u200cand\u2064 treat her condition.<br \/>\n\u200d \u200c\n  <\/div>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>    Dixon, who was already a mother to \u200ba nine-month-old, \u200cvisited\u2063 a Planned \u200cParenthood clinic in Las Vegas to have an abortion. She \u200cwas given the abortion pill, a dangerous medication\u200d known to cause fatalities. A few days \u2062later, she experienced severe abdominal \u2064pain, as reported \u2062by\u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/news.yahoo.com\/las-vegas-hospital-sued-woman-215734306.html?guccounter=1&#038;guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly91c2Mtd29yZC1lZGl0Lm9mZmljZWFwcHMubGl2ZS5jb20v&#038;guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAJguL704JdN5YFSxaIYNXzDeAaKnX6yrUxN08YHX5fFOTWlixKynpDbkO93NfLFJ1hyaUbzh9YBPdV3YZqIkErdEFXPwLpdyQAFUcwJa2FvIZiBN6sH6jUwadW2SJOlVfKhOkMpv-wpaeMaoUaDizPzjokE6eEPY4B6GmXVVD9VJ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KLAS-TV<\/a>.\n  <\/div>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>    \u2064   Judicial Watch <a href=\"https:\/\/jw.structure.email\/press-release\/20230922-jw-presser-judicial-watch-lawsuit-uncovers-at-least-six-deaths-possibly-linked-to-abortion-drug-mifeprex-mifepristone-between-2000-and-2002?utm_source=deployer&#038;utm_medium=email&#038;utm_content=&#038;utm_campaign=press+release&#038;utm_term=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced<\/a> \u2062 on Sept. 22 that they\u2062 obtained records revealing at least six deaths possibly linked to the abortion drug Mifeprex (Mifepristone) between 2000 and 2002. These incidents highlight the dangers\u200c associated with abortion procedures.<br \/>\n  \u2062\n  <\/div>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>    \u2064 \u2062   Pro-lifers often refer\u2063 to Mifeprex as RU-486,\u200c suggesting that\u200c it means &#8220;R U 4 <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/86_(term)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">86ing<\/a>&#8221; the\u200b baby.\n  <\/div>\n<div class=\"post-figure\" style=\"margin-left:0;margin-right:0;max-width:1200px\">\n<figure style=\"width:617px;margin-left:auto;margin-right:auto\" class=\"alignnone\"><figcaption>A patient prepares to take the first of two combination pills, mifepristone, for a medication abortion during a visit to a clinic in Kansas City, Kans., on Oct. 12, 2022.\u2063 (Charlie Riedel,\u2064 File\/AP Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<h2>Bonta Lawsuit<\/h2>\n<p>    This is important \u2063because on Sept. \u206221, California Attorney General Rob Bonta filed a lawsuit against \u2064pro-life \u200dgroups Heartbeat International and RealOptions Obria. These groups operate\u200c crisis pregnancy centers that aim to provide alternatives to abortion. The term &#8220;heartbeat&#8221; refers to the baby being killed, while\u2062 &#8220;RealOptions&#8221;\u2064 represents the\u2062 choice to save the baby by reversing the effects\u2063 of an abortifacient drug, similar to administering an antidote for a snake bite.\n  <\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>    \u200d   \u2064 Mr. \u200bBonta conveniently \u200dfails to mention the \u200drisks to the mother during \u200dan abortion. He also neglects to acknowledge that California has become the most pro-abortion place in the world,\u200c with laws and constitutional amendments supporting abortion rights. \u2062Governor Gavin Newsom signed\u2064 several bills into law, including\u200b Proposition 1, which solidified abortion rights in the state&#8217;s constitution.\n  <\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>    \u2062 Mr. Newsom <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.ca.gov\/2022\/09\/27\/new-protections-for-people-who-need-abortion-care-and-birth-control\/#:~:text=PROTECTIONS%20FROM%20CRIMINAL%20%26%20CIVIL%20LIABILITIES,causes%20that%20occurred%20in%20utero.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">summarized<\/a> the bills \u200don his website. One of \u200cthe most radical measures, \u2062AB 2223, ensures that \u200cpregnancy \u2063loss is not criminalized,\u2063 protecting individuals from being held \u200bliable\u200b for miscarriage, stillbirth, abortion, or perinatal death due \u200bto causes that occurred during pregnancy.\n  <\/div>\n<p>Essentially, AB 2223 \u200dallows for \u2063the killing of a baby \u200cnot\u200d just before birth, but potentially even after birth for several hours or days,\u2063 with the death attributed to vague causes that occurred\u2064 before the baby was born. This law may have effectively legalized infanticide in certain \u200bcases.<\/p>\n<p>The other bill, SB 1375, \u2064expands the options for non-doctors,\u2062 such\u2062 as Nurse Practitioners and\u200c Certified Nurse-Midwives, to perform abortions. (Courtesy\u2063 of\u200c California Family\u200b Council)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<h2>Bonta\u2019s Reasoning<\/h2>\n<p>    \u200b   According to Mr. Bonta&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/oag.ca.gov\/news\/press-releases\/attorney-general-bonta-sues-anti-abortion-group-five-california-crisis-pregnancy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a> regarding the lawsuit, he alleges that Heartbeat\u200d International (HBI) and RealOptions\u2062 have used fraudulent and misleading claims to promote an unproven and experimental procedure called &#8220;abortion\u200b pill reversal (APR).&#8221; While \u200bHBI and RealOptions claim that \u2063APR is a safe and effective way to reverse a medication \u200cabortion, Mr. Bonta \u2062argues that there is no credible scientific evidence supporting this procedure and that it may pose risks to patients.<br \/>\n \u2063\n  <\/div>\n<p>However, as we have seen,\u200b there are real risks to \u200dthe \u200bmother if \u200bthe abortion is continued. It is notable that Mr. Bonta fails to mention the loss of the \u200bbaby&#8217;s life and refers to the\u200c mothers as &#8220;patients.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He further states, &#8220;Given the lack of credible \u200dscientific evidence supporting\u200c APR&#8217;s\u2064 safety and efficacy,\u2063 it is crucial that \u2063pregnant \u2064patients (mothers) are provided with accurate information\u2062 before deciding whether to undergo \u2064this experimental\u200c procedure. Attorney General Bonta&#8217;s lawsuit seeks to block HBI and RealOptions \u2063from falsely advertising APR as safe and effective.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>    This raises\u200d a First Amendment issue, as HBI\u200d and RealOptions \u2062have the\u2063 right to advertise their services. Planned Parenthood and\u200b other abortion providers freely\u200b advertise their procedures, and Planned\u200b Parenthood even engages in political campaigns. NPR <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2023\/08\/22\/1195142490\/planned-parenthood-abortion-wisconsin-campaign-2024-gop-republican-trump-pence#:~:text=Planned%20Parenthood's%20first%20ad%20of%20the%202024%20campaign%20targets%20Wisconsin%20%3A%20NPR&#038;text=Art%20%26%20Design-,Planned%20Parenthood's%20first%20ad%20of%20the%202024%20campaign%20targets%20Wisconsin,quoting%20their%20positions%20on%20abortion.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> on \u200dPlanned\u2063 Parenthood&#8217;s campaign ads targeting GOP\u200d candidates in the\u2062 2024 elections. It is clear that there is a bias in reporting, which makes The Epoch Times a valuable source of information.\n  <\/div>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<h2>The Safety Issue<\/h2>\n<p>    \u2063   Speaking of safety, on\u200c Aug. 16, the \u2064Court \u200dof\u200d Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in the United States issued a decision\u200c banning \u2063telemedicine\u200b prescriptions and mail shipments\u200c of \u200dthe abortifacient drug mifepristone. The court&#8217;s ruling highlighted\u200b concerns about the safety of mifepristone and the removal of important\u2062 safeguards \u200dby \u2064the FDA. The court emphasized \u2062that \u200bthe FDA failed to gather sufficient\u200b evidence to prove\u2063 the safe use of\u200b mifepristone without in-person prescriptions \u2064and dispensing.\n  <\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"post-figure\" style=\"margin-left:0;margin-right:0;max-width:1200px\">\n<figure style=\"width:623px;margin-left:auto;margin-right:auto\" class=\"alignnone\"><figcaption>Mifepristone (Mifeprex), one of the two drugs used\u2064 in a \u200bmedication \u200cabortion, is displayed at the\u2064 Women&#8217;s\u200d Reproductive Clinic in Santa Teresa, N.M., on June 15, 2022. Their goal \u200cseems to \u2062be making mifepristone easily accessible, \u2063even through methods like vending machines.\u2062 Attorney General Merrick\u200b Garland <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/appeals-court-rules-abortion-pill-mifepristone-can-remain-temporarily-available-912b03ad\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">stated<\/a> that they will seek emergency relief from the \u2064Supreme \u200bCourt \u200dto\u200b defend the FDA&#8217;s scientific judgment and ensure access to &#8220;safe and effective reproductive care.&#8221;\n  <\/div>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>    However, as\u2063 we have witnessed with the controversies surrounding COVID-19 vaccines, can we truly trust the FDA&#8217;s scientific judgment? The \u200cFDA approved vaccines that have caused numerous deaths, as\u2064 reported by The Epoch Times on Sept. 4. Dozens of individuals \u2063in the United States died after receiving COVID-19 vaccines, including cases of sudden cardiac death occurring shortly after vaccination.<br \/>\n \u200d\n  <\/p><\/div>\n<p>Given these circumstances, can we rely on the FDA to make unbiased decisions based \u200bon \u200bscientific evidence, rather\u200c than political motivations\u2064 from \u200dthe Biden administration?<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<h2>Conclusion: Advocating for Women and \u2064Babies<\/h2>\n<p>    \u2063   As\u2062 someone who \u2064has been writing about abortion for nearly 50 years, I can attest that organizations like \u2064HBI and \u200cRealOptions are\u2064 dedicated\u200b to helping mothers and their babies. They are true heroes in today&#8217;s America, fighting against all odds for decades. The Supreme Court&#8217;s decision\u2062 in Dobbs v. Women&#8217;s Health Organization last year gave \u2063them hope to save more lives by overturning\u200d the flawed and poorly written Roe v. \u200cWade decision from 1973. I commend \u2064their efforts.\n  <\/p><\/div>\n<p>However, pro-abortion activists have significant funding, with organizations like Planned Parenthood receiving\u2063 substantial financial support.
