I mention this\u2064 is because I have long had reason\u2063 to \u200dbe \u2063interested\u2063 in all things associated with the Vietnam conflict, including the \u200breasoning for our nations significant investment in \u200dmoney,\u200d material,\u2064 and most importantly \u2064blood, to stop the spread of \u200bcommunism.<\/p>\n<p>One of the principle drivers of our nation&#8217;s\u2064 position on \u2064communist expansion in Southeast Asia was President Dwight D. Eisenhower. Look\u200b at where the majority of monetary \u2063donations\u200c came\u2064 from\u200c for \u200bKatie\u2064 Hobbs&#8217;s gubernatorial campaign. According\u200b to Ms. \u2062Hobbs&#8217;s own campaign\u2064 finance \u2063report, the campaign received more money from <a href=\"https:\/\/justfacts.votesmart.org\/candidate\/campaign-finance\/123724\/katie-hobbs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">out of\u200c state<\/a> than from \u2063within. Quite a \u2062bizarre \u200cfact, unless you look at Arizona as being the next defense\u2064 line against California\u2019s \u200cpolitical influence. The governor of\u200d California supported\u200d Ms. Hobbs, California\u200d Democratic PACs funneled\u2062 money\u200d directly to Arizona PACs supporting Ms. Hobbs, and\u2062 everyone\u2019s favorite Bond villain, the Soros family, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opensecrets.org\/donor-lookup\/results?name=Soros&#038;order=asc&#038;sort=A\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">donated<\/a> directly to the \u2063campaign.<\/div>\n<p>Combine the \u2063influx of non-Arizona funds, with the sudden\u200d uptick of ballot problems in\u2064 Maricopa County, \u200cclose your\u200b eyes and you get a \u200dnew Arizona Territorial Governor. \u2063Why do I say, \u201cTerritorial\u201d \u200bGovernor? Because Ms. Hobbs reports to\u2064 her real boss in Sacramento and not\u2064 the people of Arizona. Ms. Hobbs has adopted the California \u2062method of using grant funds to\u200c silence potential detractors. Here\u2063 is the scheme: Target potential critics of woke policies \u200bin\u2063 law enforcement and the educational system by exploiting\u200d every bureaucrat&#8217;s achilles heel, which is their\u2062 budgetary problems resulting \u200dfrom the never-ending desire \u200bto expand their empire.\u2062 That is\u200d how California\u2063 Democrats\u2064 turned Republicans into neutered RINOs\u2014they bought them with \u200dtaxpayer funds.<\/p>\n<p>Yes,\u200c leftist Democrats went\u200d all in \u200bto\u200c defeat Kari\u200b Lake. \u200dTheir plan \u200bto \u2063wield influence depended on a governor\u2062 they could control.\u200c Ms.\u2062 Lake\u200c represents a resurgence in\u2063 law and order, transparency, and a border. Fentanyl and human trafficking\u200d across\u200d Arizona\u2062 and California represent the lion&#8217;s share of illicit for-profit \u2062border activity, and the left has their fingerprints on \u2063this very fragile\u200d power block. Remember, Arizona is only one successful ballot count\u200c away from bringing\u2063 folks back \u200binto\u200d the governor\u2019s office who take their commitment\u2064 to the Constitution\u2064 seriously.<\/p>\n<p>In the tradition of President Joe Biden and Gov. Gavin Newsom, Ms.\u200d Hobbs immediately disintegrated the border strike force and moved its $17 million funding stream directly \u2064to woke educational investments. Step two was the creation of a $41 million dollar human trafficking grant\u2064 pool. The money is ostensibly earmarked to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/california-highway-patrol-busts-retail-theft-ring-seizing-210000-in-stolen-goods\/\" title=\"CA Highway Patrol busts retail theft ring, confiscating 0K in stolen merchandise.\">support local law enforcement agencies<\/a> across the \u200cstate in efforts to tackle challenges driven by the &#8220;border crisis.&#8221; The reality is that\u2064 many \u200d<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/country-celebrates-natl-law-enforcement-appreciation-day\/\" title=\"Country celebrates Nat\u2019l Law Enforcement Appreciation Day\">county law enforcement agencies<\/a> have found themselves behind the budgetary eight\u2064 ball due to mismanagement of\u200d their existing budgets. In fact, when Joseph Stalin died in 1953, tens of millions of citizens were dead as a result of political purges, forced collectivization, and brutal\u200d repression. \u2062This was the true face of communism, hidden behind the veil of revolutionary fervor and\u200b class equality.<\/p>\n<p>With this in mind, it seems somewhat\u200c ironic that the United States would commit so\u2064 much blood and treasure\u2062 to \u2062prevent the spread of a failed ideology. Perhaps it was driven by a genuine fear of the Soviet Union and China spreading their influence throughout Southeast Asia, but looking back, it is clear that the \u2064communist threat was not as formidable as we imagined.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the Vietnam War was a costly endeavor for the United States. The human toll was immense, with over 58,000 Americans losing their lives and\u200b countless others being physically and mentally \u200dscarred. The financial cost was also staggering, with the U.S. spending over $173 billion on the war. This money could have been better invested in domestic programs, infrastructure, or education, \u200brather than being poured into\u2062 a war halfway around the world.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the war divided \u2063the American people and \u200csparked\u200c widespread protests and civil unrest.
