The sentencing was carried out \u200cby U.S. District Judge James Boasberg, who was\u200d appointed under President Barack Obama.<\/p>\n<p>Milstreed, a 56-year-old resident\u200d of Finksburg, pleaded guilty to assaulting officers with\u2063 a dangerous \u2062weapon and two other counts. Milstreed then proceeded to shove the photographer.<\/p>\n<p>In \u200bmessages to \u200dhis \u2064friends, Milstreed expressed his satisfaction with what had transpired. He wrote, &#8220;We [expletive] them federal \u200bcops \u2062up. They all ran when\u200d we got physical.&#8221; In another message, he stated, &#8220;I did get to punch \u2062a camera man with everything I had brother I felt good.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>During the sentencing, Judge Boasberg \u200dacknowledged the \u200bseriousness of Milstreed&#8217;s\u200b conduct but also believed that he showed remorse.
