However, California is facing legal challenges for passing\u200c bills in response to \u200dthe U.S.\u2064 Supreme Court&#8217;s Bruen decision, which declared a New\u2062 York law requiring a license to \u2062carry a concealed weapon\u200c unconstitutional.
