This ramshackle \u200bshanty town, known as\u2062 &#8220;the \u2064Zone,&#8221; has \u200dbecome a \u2062breeding ground \u2062for \u200drampant crime, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/its-now-almost-impossible-to-get-arrested-for-drugs-in-washington-state\/\" title=\"It\u2019s Now Almost Impossible To Get Arrested For Drugs In Washington State\">open-air drug<\/a> use, and \u2064filthy streets littered with trash, drug paraphernalia, and human waste.<\/p>\n<p>In his ruling, \u200dMaricopa County Superior Court Judge Scott Blaney sided\u200b with a group of \u2064<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/late-night-restaurant-owners-want-to-play-fair-so-far-they-say-newsom-hasnt\/\" title=\"Late-night restaurant owners want to play fair. So far, they say, Newsom hasn't\">local business owners<\/a>\u200c who have been severely impacted by the presence of the Zone. They\u2064 argued that the encampment poses a grave threat to public health and safety, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/small-business-group-to-sue-biden-over-vaccine-mandate\/\" title=\"Small Business Group To Sue Biden Over Vaccine Mandate\">causing significant harm<\/a> \u200cto\u200c their businesses.<\/p>\n<p>The judge highlighted the city&#8217;s intentional \u200bdecrease in enforcement of criminal and health statutes at the Zone since \u200d2018,\u2063 which has resulted in a\u200b dramatic increase in violent crime, including assault and homicide. He described horrifying incidents, such as\u2063 burned\u2064 human bodies\u2064 found in the streets and\u2062 a deceased\u200b newborn baby abandoned in \u2064the Zone.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the judge emphasized the environmental hazards \u2064created\u2064 by the encampment, \u200dwith human waste, food waste, and trash dumped on the streets. The\u2063 area has become a biohazard,\u2064 with \u2064the rain intensifying the smell \u200bof urine and feces.\u200c The\u2062 proliferation of waste has also led to infestations of flies\u2062 and other insects.<\/p>\n<p>Not only does the Zone suffer from crime \u200cand unsanitary \u2063conditions,\u200c but it also poses \u200ca danger to\u200c children due to drug needles and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/massive-homeless-zone-must-be-cleared-in-45-days-after-judge-drops-the-hammer-on-city-officials\/\" title=\"Judge orders city officials to clear massive homeless 'zone' within 45 days.\">fentanyl-tainted tin foil littering<\/a> the \u2062streets.<\/p>\n<p>Despite a\u2064 previous order to shut down the encampment, the city of \u2063Phoenix has\u2064 failed to adequately comply.
