Do women <i>not<\/i> \u2062think of \u2063the Roman Empire \u2064every day? Then, when I got \u2064home, my\u200c wife, Alissa, turned to me after having \u200dseen the TikTok and asked, \u201cDo you really \u2063think of the Roman Empire every day?\u201d I laughed and said, \u201cYou live with me. I basically <i>talk<\/i> about the Roman Empire every day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Why is that so?\u200d Why do men think of the Roman Empire every \u200cday? The answer seems rather \u200cobvious\u2062 to me:\u2064 the Roman Empire was\u2064 the last \u2062time \u2062we had a unity of all of Western civilization. A\u200c perfect unity of \u200bit. There \u200cwas a total political unity of all the lands and the peoples. There was a theological unity \u200dafter the Edict of Milan\u2064 when \u2064Catholicism became the official \u2063religion of the Roman\u2064 Empire.\u200c There was\u2063 a unity of religion, a unity \u2062of politics, and a unity of land. There was a unity of everything.<\/p>\n<p>The fall of Rome \u2064is the main historical event that people compare anything \u200bto. With\u200c it came\u2063 a \u2062break\u200c up\u2064 that we have\u2062 always\u2062 been trying to reconcile and \u2063put back together. There was a bit\u2062 of a resurgence with the Holy Roman Empire, though I consider that to\u200d be a sort of extension\u2062 of the Roman Empire (so\u2062 I think that counts). Thinking about the Habsburg monarchy, an almost continuous\u2062 reign as Holy Roman Emperors, \u2063qualifies as thinking about the Roman Empire every day.<\/p>\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/show\/the-michael-knowles-show\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WATCH: The Michael Knowles Show<\/a><\/h4>\n<p>During the\u2064 Middle Ages, there was a yearning in the Western\u200c mind to return \u200bto the Roman Empire. Dante wrote about this \u200cunity that they were \u2014 and now we\u200b are \u2014 all seeking. We are all so fragile \u2064and now\u200d we are so extraordinarily fragmented. That is why people make \u2062these comparisons to the fall of Rome \u2014 because they know\u2062 that was a travesty.<\/p>\n<p>I spoke with my friend\u2063 Spencer Klavan about this \u201cthinking of Rome every day\u201d\u200d realization, and he pointed out that part of what is so delightful about it is, it\u2019s the first time in quite some time\u200b that we have \u200dseen one\u2064 sex stumble upon \u200ca fact\u200c about the\u200d opposite sex and \u200cget a\u2062 kick out of\u2062 it. So \u2062often \u2064today when \u2062one sex finds out something or\u2064 makes an observation about \u200cthe other sex, it \u200cis \u2064an observation made in disgust or revulsion. This is obviously true of feminists. When they discover anything masculine, they label it \u201ctoxic.\u201d It is also true of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/most-men-think-about-the-roman-empire-every-day\/\" title=\"Most men ponder the Roman Empire daily.\">red pill \u200dbro-men<\/a> who do not like women.<\/p>\n<p>The Roman Empire question\/answer\u200b is a\u200b good example of women discovering something they previously did not know about men and\u2064 thinking, <em>That\u2019s kind of cute. It shaped Western civilization in terms of law, governance, architecture, literature, and language. \u200cMany of our modern institutions and concepts are derived from Roman \u200cideas and practices. Therefore, thinking of the \u2063Roman Empire every day is\u200d not just a random thought, but\u2064 a reflection of its lasting impact on our society.<\/p>\n<p>However, it is important to note that not all men \u2063think of \u2064the Roman Empire \u200bevery day. It depends on individual interests and backgrounds. Some\u2062 men may be more fascinated by other historical periods or cultures.
