No-cost COVID-19 vaccines through this program will be available until December 31, \u20642024.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The CDC estimates that there are 25 million \u2062to 30 million \u2063U.S. adults without health insurance.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking \u200dto reporters on Sept. 20, Health and \u2062Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra said that the Bridge Access Program is \u201ca billion-plus dollar program\u201d and\u200d pointed out that \u200dthe CDC \u2063will\u2064 be paying a similar price for the\u200c vaccine as it did in \u2064the past.<\/p>\n<p>During the first\u200d round of vaccinations, the federal government had paid $20 \u2063per dose. The new vaccines on the commercial market exceed $100 a dose, with Pfizer charging \u2063$120 and Moderna charging $129 per shot.<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>\u201cYou don\u2019t have to pay out of\u2063 pocket for\u2062 your vaccine.
