Chances are, you and your loved ones might catch\u2063 one, but just say no, at least to the nasal swab. Encourage\u2062 your family and friends to do the same. The Covid-19\u200d test won\u2019t change anything, but \u200cpositive tests will fuel the media and health bureaucracy\u2019s hysterical\u2062 efforts to impose medical \u2064martial\u200b law.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m not just pontificating here. Recently, I felt myself going downhill. Thinking it was strep throat, which seemed to be going around the kids\u2019 school, where I\u2019d spent a number of hours watching my oldest play volleyball, I booked an appointment at my\u200c doctor\u2019s office. The test for strep came back negative, though, and that\u2019s when the nurse practitioner said something that surprised me.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIt may be the early stages \u2062of the flu,\u201d she said. \u201cIt could be Covid. \u2062It\u2019s going around. But the tests are so inaccurate, I don\u2019t recommend getting one.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>So I skipped the test. She prescribed steroids\u200c and a Z-Pak and sent\u200c me on my way, which is what she would have done if I had tested and it had \u200ccome back \u2064positive. \u200bGiven the brain fog \u200cI suffered and that the \u2064kids at the school tested positive for Covid and negative for strep, I likely had the\u2062 best-engineered virus U.S. taxpayers could buy.<\/p>\n<p>In other words, I had an unpleasant cold for about a week. No one around me got sick,\u200c I healed, and life moved on.<\/p>\n<p>With the fall \u200dvirus season in full swing, there\u2019s a chance you\u2019re going to get it.\u200b There\u2019s a chance your kid is\u2064 going to get it. There\u2019s a chance a loved one is going \u200dto catch it.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Don\u2019t play the game.\u2062 Don\u2019t get tested, don\u2019t self-report, and \u200ddon\u2019t be a statistic for the neurotic control freaks stoked by corporate \u200dmedia in the past few years. Be the anti-Nike: just don\u2019t do it. Stay away from people, eat some chicken noodle soup, maybe get some steroids and a Z-Pak from your doctor, but \u200cdon\u2019t \u2062give the Branch\u200c Covidians the numbers they want to see.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The neurotics are anxious for Covid panic to come back. They\u2019re looking for excuses to reassert \u200ccontrol. An elementary school in Maryland has already <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox5dc.com\/news\/controversial-mask-mandate-issued-at-maryland-elementary-school-after-covid-outbreak\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ap-quotes-mayor-attacking-ron-desantis-doesnt-mention-hes-married-to-desantis-political-rival\/\" title=\"AP Quotes Mayor Attacking Ron DeSantis, Doesn\u2019t Mention He\u2019s Married To DeSantis\u2019 Political Rival\">brought back mask mandates<\/a><\/a>. So, too, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/health\/article-12437079\/new-covid-variant-mask-mandate-hospital-kaiser-permanente-california.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">have<\/a> Rutgers University, Morris Brown College, hospitals in California and New York, and Lionsgate Studios. Joe Biden\u2019s staff announced he\u2019s wearing masks again.<\/p>\n<p>If you think I\u2019m being paranoid, then\u2062 look to the Associated Press, which tells us <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/covid19-masks-vaccines-mandates-lockdowns-republicans-0a68414277bd37458a7e2360b1bc4f11\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">not to worry<\/a> because \u201cthere\u2019s no sign that anyone in federal or state leadership \u2063is considering\u2063 widespread COVID-19 restrictions, requirements or mask mandates.\u201d\u2063 Someone should ask a <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/01\/13\/media-biden-isnt-banning-gas-stoves-and-its-good-that-he-is\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">gas stove<\/a> for its opinion on the\u200d media assuring us that people have nothing \u2064to \u200bfear.<\/p>\n<p>For starters, <a href=\"https:\/\/vinayprasadmdmph.substack.com\/p\/cloth-masks-dont-work-the-cnn-admission?utm_source=%2Fsearch%2Fmask%2520work&#038;utm_medium=reader2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">masks don\u2019t work<\/a>. They are the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=xSVqLHghLpw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tiger thwarting rocks<\/a> of respiratory \u200bvirus interventions. More important, though, the latest variant, whatever it\u2019s called, is continuing Covid\u2019s evolutionary journey toward becoming\u2063 a fairly mild and constantly circulating cold.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Jill Biden, \u2062despite being a doctor, caught it and quickly recovered without incident, and she\u2019s 72. Her husband, President Joe \u200dBiden, did allow\u2063 himself to be\u200c tested, but in a rare moment \u2062of clarity he refused to wear the mask \u2062his\u2063 handlers tried to\u2064 put on him. Instead, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/biden-jokes-forced-him-wear-mask-dont-tell-them\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">he told<\/a> a\u200b group of reporters, \u201cDon\u2019t tell them I\u200d didn\u2019t\u2062 have it on,\u201d when he was\u2063 caught on camera without it.<\/p>\n<p>For once, Biden made the right call.\u2064 In \u2062this narrow \u2064instance, it\u2019s even okay\u2064 to emulate him, though \u2063you might also want to\u2062 bite <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/08\/23\/there-is-something-demented-about-bidens-lies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">his style<\/a> \u200cif you\u2019re trying to win a dog in a <a href=\"https:\/\/comb.io\/j6EAH2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">truth-telling contest at a church carnival<\/a>. Do not emulate him when it comes to getting tested constantly, though.<\/p>\n<p>Look, I get it. Spring of 2020 was a mildly\u2064 terrifying \u2063time \u2014 the media helped ensure that it was \u2014 \u2063but it\u2019s time to let it go. The Wu Flu is here to stay, regardless of any of the measures that have completely failed to stop it ever\u200d since it escaped the lab via a plucky pangolin. Don\u2019t test. \u200cDon\u2019t report. Don\u2019t worry about it.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019re not dying.
