Stefani Lord in an email to The \u200cEpoch Times.<\/p>\n<p>New Mexico Republican\u2063 State Rep. John Block has\u200b joined\u200d Ms. Lord\u200c in the impeachment effort.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Almost every single Democrat, Republican, and \u2062independent \u200bopposes her lawless, unconstitutional order, \u2063which is\u2063 evidenced by the vast number of people decrying \u2063how\u2063 insane and unlawful it is,&#8221; he wrote in an email to The Epoch \u200cTimes.<\/p>\n<div class=\"shortcode post-related-videos\">\n<div class=\"lazyload-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"lazyload-placeholder\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>They have initiated the certification process \u2062for an extraordinary legislative session for impeachment.<\/p>\n<p>The latest lawsuit was filed in the New Mexico Supreme Court on September 14 \u200dby the NRA, state House and Senate Republicans, the New Mexico Republican Party, the New Mexico Libertarian Party, and eight individuals.<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit \u2064names Governor Grisham and \u200dPatrick Allen, Secretary of the State\u2064 Department of Public Health, as defendants.<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">An\u2064 NRA spokesperson did \u200bnot respond to requests\u2064 for comment. <\/p>\n<h2>Plaintiffs\u2063 Allege \u2064&#8217;Invasion of Rights&#8217;<\/h2>\n<p> According to the lawsuit, the plaintiffs are seeking a court ruling that gun violence \u2064and drug \u200cuse should\u2063 not be considered public health \u200cemergencies. They argue that the \u200cexecutive\u2063 orders \u2064violate the constitutional separation of \u200cpowers and result\u2063 in a &#8220;plain,\u200c palpable invasion of rights.&#8221;<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Despite Governor \u200cGrisham&#8217;s revision of the original order, the plaintiffs are requesting \u200cthe\u200b court to hear the case.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The \u200bCourt should hear this\u200b Petition\u2062 and decide these issues\u2062 on the merits regardless of \u200bwhether the current\u200d [order] is put back into full effect,\u2062 is \u2063voluntarily withdrawn, or is superseded \u200cby another order, as the deeper legal issues\u2063 involved are of paramount importance and are &#8216;capable of \u200brepetition yet \u2062evading review,'&#8221;\u2064 states the lawsuit.<\/p>\n<p>Governor Grisham\u200d has publicly defended her actions, stating \u2062during a press conference on\u2062 September 8 that no constitutional rights are absolute.
