This is a significant \u200bstep towards justice.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/charliekirk11\/status\/1704164278536901050\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">court documents<\/a>, \u2063Epps has been charged\u200c with a misdemeanor\u200c count of &#8220;Disorderly\u200d or Disruptive Conduct in a Restricted Building or Grounds.&#8221; The fact that he is being charged through an &#8220;information&#8221; rather than an indictment suggests that he may enter a plea\u200b deal.<\/p>\n<p>So, all the conspiracy theories fueled by Tucker Carlson about Epps\u2064 being an FBI source or informant can finally be put to rest.\u2063 The case is\u200d closed, \u2063and it turns out he was just a bit disorderly. Let&#8217;s move on.<\/p>\n<h3>Why \u200cCan&#8217;t the Rabid Right-Wingers Accept the \u200cCharges?<\/h3>\n<p>It&#8217;s puzzling why some right-wingers are\u200b unable to accept the charges \u2063brought by the DOJ\u200b and the media&#8217;s reporting. These \u2063are trusted institutions with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/you-cant-make-this-up-disgraced-former-fbi-agent-peter-strzoks-wife-melissa-hodgman-named-acting-director-of-the-division-of-enforcement-for-the-sec\/\" title=\"You Can\u2019t Make This Up: Disgraced Former FBI Agent Peter Strzok\u2019s Wife, Melissa Hodgman, Named Acting Director of the Division of Enforcement for the SEC\">proven track record<\/a>\u200b of ethics, honesty, and equal justice under\u2062 the law. It&#8217;s time to \u200bturn off Fox News and Truth Social and get the facts straight.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Why are ultra-MAGA Republicans still fixated on \u200dthe multiple clips of Epps rallying protesters towards the Capitol on\u200b Jan. 5 and 6, 2021? They \u2062can&#8217;t seem to accept that the demonstrators booed \u200bhis suggestion and labeled him a &#8220;Fed! Fed! Fed!&#8221;\u2062 But what do they know? They&#8217;re insurrectionists.<\/li>\n<li>Why do election deniers keep bringing \u2062up the text Epps sent his nephew after the riot? He already walked back his statement, \u2062claiming he was just boasting. Let&#8217;s ignore what he was boasting about.<\/li>\n<li>How come Trump supporters are circulating clips of Epps whispering to a protester before they toppled a metal police barricade? Epps\u2064 has already denied agitating and \u2064claimed he said, &#8220;We&#8217;re not\u2062 here for that.\u200c The police aren&#8217;t the enemy.&#8221; \u200dAnd why wouldn&#8217;t the\u2063 media trust him? They always believe \u200cwhite men,\u2064 right?<\/li>\n<li>And what&#8217;s the obsession with Epps being\u2062 on the FBI Wanted List and then suddenly being removed? Just like the baseless Biden family business scandal, there is absolutely zero evidence that Ray Epps\u2062 was a federal agent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It&#8217;s time for radical \u2064conservatives like \u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/julie_kelly2\/status\/1704154247112085849\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Julie Kelly<\/a> to stop droning on about Epps breaching exterior lines and interfering with \u2062security. They keep\u2063 referencing Section \u200b1512, which covers obstruction of justice, \u200bbut Epps has already \u200bbeen charged.<\/p>\n<p>And let&#8217;s put an\u200b end to the Proud Boys comparisons. Some guy who wasn&#8217;t even in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 6, 2021, is serving a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/president-biden-declares-derek-chauvins-prison-sentence-appropriate\/\" title=\"President Biden Declares Derek Chauvin\u2019s Prison Sentence \u2018Appropriate\u2019\">22-year prison sentence<\/a> \u200dfor seditious conspiracy and &#8220;terrorism,&#8221; while Epps gets a disorderly \u2064conduct misdemeanor and probably a plea deal. So what&#8217;s the point?<\/p>\n<p>How many times does the\u2064 media need to tell you people \u2062that Ray Epps \u200disn&#8217;t\u200b a fed before you get it through your thick skulls?
