We might have runaway inflation that rivals the late Roman empire, and state-of-the-art fighter jets that the Pentagon loses like spare change. But at least we don\u2019t lop people\u2019s heads off\u2062 in the town square because they stole a loaf\u2064 of bread.<\/p>\n<h2>What human rights groups will not tell you, because it\u2019s\u2063 inconvenient for their \u200cpreferred political narrative, is that public \u2064executions are now more\u200c common in the first\u2064 world than they\u2019ve ever been in history.<\/h2>\n<h3>It\u2019s not even close.<\/h3>\n<p>In fact, these executions are happening all the time right here in the United States. All that\u2019s changed from a century ago \u2062is\u2064 that the authorities aren\u2019t the ones carrying out these killings, in accordance with any kind of legal standard. Instead, the perpetrators are young \u200bcriminals, who also happen to be \u2014 whether we want to acknowledge \u2063it or not \u200c\u2014 disproportionately male and black.<\/p>\n<h2>One of these public executions took place in northwest Las Vegas around 6:00am on the morning \u2063of August 14th.<\/h2>\n<h3>A 64-year-old retired police chief named Andreas Probst was \u2063out biking when \u200ba 17-year-old driver, urged on by his friend, decided that it was time \u2062for Probst\u2062 to die.<\/h3>\n<p>The passenger in the vehicle recorded what happened next and uploaded the footage \u200don \u2062the internet.\u200d The video begins with these criminals ramming a random car on the road, performing a PIT maneuver for no apparent reason. Then\u200b the thugs spot Probst. We\u2019re going\u2062 to show you the footage now, but you \u2062should know in advance that it\u2019s disturbing. Here it is:<\/p>\n<p><strong>EDITOR\u2019S NOTE: WARNING, THE VIDEO BELOW IS GRAPHIC:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">This video has received 1\/1000th of the coverage of the Jordan Neely subway incident. \u200cIf the races\u200c were reversed, it would be the only thing the media would be talking about. The life of\u200b the guy they ran over simply doesn\u2019t matter because \u2063he is white.  <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/Gk1Huwt7Bs\">pic.twitter.com\/Gk1Huwt7Bs<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Ian Miles Cheong (@stillgray) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/stillgray\/status\/1702956447330668812?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 16, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>At the\u2064 outset,\u200c it\u2019s important to note how commonplace it is to see footage like that on social media these\u200c days.\u200c We\u2019ll get more into \u200dthe reasons for that in a second. But it used to be that you would only see people dying if you were disturbed enough to seek out\u200b that kind of material from LiveLeak\u2064 videos out of Iraq, or on some horrific snuff porn forum \u2063in some dark and terrible corner of the internet. Now the videos are \u2063all over the place on the internet, and you\u2019re likely to \u200csee them whether you sought them out or\u200c not. This is a very bad thing, \u2063obviously. Bad that people are being killed on video. Bad that we have to see it. But you \u200cwould \u2063think \u2063that\u200b if one positive thing could possibly come out of the proliferation and accessibility of these kinds of videos, it would at least be honesty. We \u2062all know what\u2019s going on in these videos. We can see\u2062 them. We have seen them. We should at least be\u2062 able to\u200c be honest about them, and have an honest conversation. But we can\u2019t, \u2063because even \u200cif the videos are all over the place, the institutions tasked with \u200breporting on them, and giving us all the information we need\u2064 about them, are determined to protect their own \u200bnarratives.<\/p>\n<p>Back to this case. The driver of that vehicle has been arrested. He was initially picked up for vehicular homicide, before cops saw this video. Then, once they saw this footage, they upgraded the charges to \u2063murder. That\u2019s the good news. The bad news is that authorities won\u2019t release the name of this \u200cdriver, supposedly\u2063 because he\u2019s 17-years-old, and for that reason, they\u2019re protecting \u200bhim. You see, in our legal system, thugs who mow down retirees are entitled to anonymity. Conveniently enough, that policy makes\u2063 it a lot harder to track which demographic groups are committing these horrible crimes, almost as if it\u2019s by design.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, to be completely honest and forthright with \u200byou, we can\u2019t tell you with certainty \u2064who the driver or\u2064 his\u2064 passenger are. \u2064Apparently, police still haven\u2019t even arrested the passenger, somehow. So we can\u2019t really tell you anything about them. We can\u2019t look up their social media \u200cprofiles and see if\u200d they offered a motive\u2062 for this killing, for example. The government wants\u200b us to remain as clueless as possible about this heinous crime, all for the benefit of \u2062the murderers.<\/p>\n<p>But to the extent possible, I\u2019m not going to play along with that,\u200d because when you\u200d run over an elderly man on a bike, no sane person would want to silence\u2063 an open and honest conversation about what happened. So let\u2019s have that conversation.<\/p>\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/episode\/ep-1225-the-matt-walsh-show\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WATCH: The Matt Walsh Show<\/a><\/h4>\n<p>It appears that the video \u2063depicts one, probably two black teenagers killing an elderly white man. That\u2019s not an observation, that\u2019s unique to my deft skills of perception. A lot of people have come to the same conclusion, because they have two working eyes and ears.<\/p>\n<p>Before\u200d anyone says, \u200c\u201cThat\u2019s\u2063 not confirmed; you shouldn\u2019t spread unconfirmed information\u201d \u2014 I \u2063agree with you in a sense. Speculation, however\u2064 well-founded it may be, shouldn\u2019t be necessary. Ideally, your government is honest with you\u2063 about the people who are running over innocent men in the middle of the street. Ideally they release \u2064perpetrators\u2019 photos and names and social media feeds\u200d immediately. That\u2019s\u2064 what they do\u2064 when the police \u2064kill someone, even if it\u2019s an\u2063 accident. You\u200d have the cop\u2019s entire life story, printed in every major newspaper, within 24 hours. But, like Europe, we\u2019re now hiding demographic information about the perpetrators of violent crime in this country, as long as they fit certain characteristics. And until our leaders stop doing\u200c what they\u2019re doing in\u200d Europe, they\u2019d better get used \u200dto speculation.<\/p>\n<p>But it doesn\u2019t appear our \u200cleaders will stop doing what they\u2019re doing, because if we\u2019re being honest, it\u2019s working. \u200bThere\u2019s a complete media blackout on the identity of the killers in this case. Let\u2019s take a look at the \u2063media coverage of the footage you just saw. Here\u2019s the New York Post: \u201cFootage shows teen driver appear to deliberately hit and kill \u200cretired police chief Andreas Probst.\u201d Fox News: \u201cTeen driver appears to intentionally hit, kill\u2063 retired police chief in viral video.\u201d People Magazine: \u200b\u201cTeen Charged with Murder After Video Appears to Show Driver\u2064 Hit Retired Police Chief on \u200cPurpose.\u201d The Independent: \u201cVideo allegedly shows teen driver intentionally striking retired police chief in deadly bike crash.\u201d And\u2064 on it goes.<\/p>\n<p>All of these headlines \u2063don\u2019t just \u2062obscure the \u200cracial element\u2063 of this murder. They omit \u200bit entirely. This is almost too \u2064obvious a point to make, but consider what would happen if the races were reversed \u2063in \u2063this scenario. Imagine that two white teens \u200bmow down an\u200d elderly \u2062black man on a bicycle. Would the headlines say, \u201cTeens appear to kill \u2062a retired cop\u201d?\u200c Would there be any hesitation whatsoever to report on the \u2063race of \u2063everyone involved in this incident, and front-load it as\u2064 quickly as possible?<\/p>\n<p>You\u2062 know \u2064the \u2063answer to that question. At every opportunity, when there\u2019s a black victim and a\u200c white perpetrator, the \u200cmedia makes sure to mention race\u200b as much as possible. \u201cShot Black teenager crying \u2018buckets of tears,\u2019 84-year-old in custody,\u201d reads one <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbs.org\/newshour\/nation\/shot-black-teenager-crying-buckets-of-tear-but-coping-well-mother-says\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recent \u200bPBS headline<\/a>. \u201cAfter \u2063years of threats, a feud ends with a \u2062Black mom dead and \u200cher white neighbor arrested,\u201d reads an <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/florida-shooting-neighbor-7d033653743d3efe2395367be27ea77b\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AP headline<\/a> from this summer. \u201cTa\u2019Kiya Young\u2019s family\u2064 urges officer\u2019s\u200b arrest after video \u200cshows him killing the pregnant Black woman,\u201d reads a <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/pregnant-woman-killed-police-ohio-footage-95daff91130a64bb43848431ea4441af\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">more recent AP story.<\/a> In \u2063none of these \u200bcases was it clear, or even plausible, that race motivated the killing. But our media led with race because it allowed them to force-feed \u200cthe BLM narrative.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re wondering why a certain large portion of\u2064 the\u2064 public still believes that black Americans \u2063are being hunted \u200band killed en masse by whites, this is why. This is why so many people still march and \u200cshout \u201cBlack Lives Matter\u201d to protest this phantom injustice.\u2064 The majority\u2064 of \u2063Americans are fed a carefully curated version of events that bears very little resemblance to what\u2019s actually happening in this country. The truth is that, as the X account \u201cData Hazard\u201d has pointed out, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/fentasyl\/status\/1594181855489712128?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">more than 27%<\/a> of \u2062white murder\u2064 victims are killed by \u200dnon-whites. By contrast,\u2064 less than 10% black murder victims are killed by criminals who aren\u2019t black. Black\u200c people are <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/monitoringbias\/status\/1637476266994458624?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">roughly ten times<\/a> more likely to\u200c kill a white person, as compared to the odds of a\u2062 white person killing a black person.<\/p>\n<p>This fact isn\u2019t factored into the equation because the powers that be work to conceal it. They\u200c hide the truth in headlines.\u2062 And when there is obvious racial\u2063 violence \u2014 like the attacks \u2062by predominantly black offenders against Asians in San Francisco, or Orthodox Jews in \u200cNew York \u2014 the media simply looks the other way. If we\u2019re being charitable, which we shouldn\u2019t be, then \u2062we can conclude\u2062 that these media organizations are petrified that they might give fuel to all \u200bthe dreaded MAGA Republican white supremacists lurking in this country. So they \u2018re lying to us.<\/p>\n<p>But all these concerns about racial violence, real and imagined, obscure a\u2064 very uncomfortable truth \u2014 which is that the vast majority of\u200d violence in this \u2062country isn\u2019t motivated specifically by race. It\u2019s not motivated by white supremacy, or black supremacy, or any kind of\u200d racial supremacy. Take that video of the police chief who was killed. Everyone watching that footage knows that \u2063it\u2019s likely\u2062 these kids in the car would have\u200b hit that cyclist no matter who he \u2064was and what\u2063 he looked like.<\/p>\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILY WIRE APP<\/strong><\/a><\/h4>\n<p>The data are clear on this point: The\u200b epidemic \u2064of \u200bviolent crime is fueled\u200c not by racial animosity for the most part. Even if you use the \u2063government\u2019s cooked \u201chate crime\u201d stats, you don\u2019t explain the vast majority of violent crime in this country. The truth is that \u200blots of kids who weren\u2019t raised to be civilized human beings are \u200cunleashed onto the world as barbarians looking\u2062 to inflict pain and suffering just for the sake of it.\u2064 For the\u2062 most part, these are kids who aren\u2019t raised in stable two-parent households, which \u200cincludes a very high percentage of black children. Without a stable family life, or a father figure, these kids are going out and committing heinous, arbitrary acts of violence \u2014 and they\u2019re targeting people of\u2063 all races.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s because these\u2063 violent crimes are so blatant, so unrestrained,\u2064 that you can often\u2062 find \u200cfootage of them on social media.\u200b For example, consider\u200c the viral video this week \u2064of a killing in Philadelphia. You can see a guy standing on \u200ca street\u200d corner \u2064looking at his phone. Someone in a hoodie walks by, pulls a gun and shoots him \u2063in the back of the \u2062head, before robbing him. Both the victim and the assailant \u2064are black. And that\u2019s the kind of barbarism that\u2019s regularly on display in major American cities.<\/p>\n<p>But videos like that will\u2062 never appear on CNN or MSNBC. And\u2064 if they ever do, there won\u2019t be \u2063any honest conversation about them. There\u2019s another one \u200djust this week\u2063 of a man being shot down in the middle of a parking lot in broad daylight. Again the killer casually murders his \u200bvictim then strolls away as if nothing happened, entirely unfazed by what he\u2019d \u200ddone. Probably because it wasn\u2019t his first time. Again, in that case, both the victim\u200b and the assailant were black.<\/p>\n<p>BLM has\u2063 not issued any statement about any of these cases. There will be no mass protests or vigils to honor the man shot for holding a cell phone in Philadelphia, or \u2062the men in the parking lot in that apartment complex. None of these deaths fit a convenient narrative, even though they involve black victims, so they\u2019re ignored.<\/p>\n<p>But at a certain point, if we care about victims \u2014 of all racial backgrounds, including white and \u200bblack\u200c victims, \u200dand every other kind of victim \u2014 we need to ask\u2062 ourselves why\u2063 society is filled with so\u200d many thugs who\u200b have no compunction about executing people in broad daylight.<\/p>\n<p>This \u2064wasn\u2019t always the\u200d case. As the blogger Devin Helton <a href=\"https:\/\/devinhelton.com\/why-urban-decay\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">noted recently<\/a>, homicide rates in U.S. cities all blew up somewhere\u2064 around the mid-20th century. Baltimore\u2019s homicides went up by 346% from 1950 to 1991; Chicago\u2019s homicide rate \u200dwent up by 322%; Detroit\u200d by more than 1,400%; New York City\u2019s by 692%; New Orleans\u2019 by\u200d 504%; San Francisco by 128%, and so on. In \u2062all \u2062of these cases, Helton notes, homicide rates were higher in 1991 than they were \u2063in \u2064the early 1900s,\u2062 before the invention of \u2062antibiotics and modern surgical techniques.<\/p>\n<p>What these figures demonstrate is\u2063 that the violence we accept as normal is, in fact, a choice. It \u2063is \u2062not inevitable. The BLM regime and corporate media have done everything they can to obscure that fact, \u200cbut it\u2019s true. And it\u2019s incumbent on all of the liars in the \u200cmedia,\u200c and the political class, to explain why \u200cwe\u2019ve gone backwards to such an enormous and measurable degree.<\/p>\n<p>If they start screaming about white supremacy and dog whistles, then you know they\u2019re not interested \u2062in a truthful discussion. A few years ago, they could get away with \u2062that. But now the\u2062 bodies are piling up, on camera. Now the\u200b suspects are recording\u200d themselves in the act of committing murder. So the lies need to end,\u200b it\u2019s time for actual solutions. And if our leaders can\u2019t provide \u200bthem, then inevitably, this country will elect leaders who will. These may not be the solutions Amnesty International wants, but if we continue to ignore what\u2019s happening in bike lanes and parking lots all over the country, \u200cthen these solutions will be inevitable.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<h2> How can we ensure\u2062 a balance between protecting the identities of\u2062 criminals and having open \u200dand honest discussions about the factors that\u200b contribute to criminal behavior, including demographics<\/h2>\n<p><span>  And protecting the identities of criminals, because it\u200b doesn&#8217;t fit the preferred narrative. We&#8217;re supposed to pretend that crime and violence are random and that demographics play no role in criminal behavior. That&#8217;s a\u2064 lie, and it&#8217;s a dangerous one.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s be clear: I&#8217;m not saying that every black teenager is a violent criminal or that every white person is innocent. That would be absurd and unfair. But we can&#8217;t ignore the\u2063 fact that certain demographic groups \u2062are disproportionately\u200b represented in crime statistics. And when we can&#8217;t even discuss these facts \u2063openly and honestly, we&#8217;re \u2063only perpetuating the problem.<\/p>\n<p>This case \u200cin northwest Las\u2063 Vegas is a prime example.\u2064 The fact that the driver and possibly the passenger, both young black males, targeted and killed an elderly\u2063 white man should\u2064 be a\u2062 topic of\u2063 discussion. We should be talking about why these young men made the decision to commit \u200csuch a violent act. We should be examining the factors that contribute to this type of behavior, whether \u2062it be systemic issues, socio-economic\u200c factors, or cultural influences. But instead, we&#8217;re being told to turn a blind eye and pretend that nothing out of\u2063 the ordinary happened.<\/p>\n<p>Public executions may no longer be carried out by the authorities in the developed world, but that doesn&#8217;t mean they<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>According to human rights groups, public executions are now rare in developed countries.
