Laura Kelly, who, unlike the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/breaking-ag-barr-authorizes-federal-prosecutors-to-pursue-substantial-allegations-of-voting-irregularities-before-2020-election-is-certified\/\" title=\"BREAKING: AG Barr Authorizes Federal Prosecutors to Pursue \"Substantial Allegations\" of Voting Irregularities Before 2020 Election is Certified\">attorney general<\/a>, is a\u200c Democrat.<\/p>\n<p>According to the AP,\u00a0the \u200cmove will \u201creverse policies that Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly\u2019s administration set\u2062 when she took office \u200bin 2019. They came in response to court filings by conservative Republican state\u200c Attorney General Kris Kobach to enforce the new state law. \u2063Enacted by the GOP-controlled \u200dLegislature over \u200bKelly\u2019s veto, it took effect July 1 and defines male and female based only on \u200dthe sex assigned\u200d to a person at birth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Which\u200d is, you \u2064know,\u200d the\u200d sex that they <em>are<\/em>. But arguing this in federal \u200bcourt was apparently a difficult thing. In August, a federal judge \u2063finally cleared the way for Kobach to enforce the new law.<\/p>\n<p>And that\u2019s not the end of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ap-conservatives-push-kris-kobach-for-homeland-security-head\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kobach\u2019s<\/a> fight, according to\u2063 the Reflector.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cKobach has \u200balso targeted gender markers on drivers\u2019 licenses.\u200d In July, he filed a petition in Shawnee \u2064County District Court asking the \u2062court to order the Kansas\u2064 Department of Revenue\u2019s Division of \u200bVehicles to\u200b issue driver\u2019s licenses \u200bthat \u2064reflect a \u2063resident\u2019s \u2064sex at birth,\u201d the Reflector \u2064reported.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In a statement, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/kansas-state-prof-calls-gop-death-cult-calls-app-track-republicans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kelly<\/a> blasted \u200dthe law and its implementation \u200c\u2014\u2063 but insisted she would follow its strictures.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs I\u2019ve said before, the \u200bstate should not discriminate\u200c or encroach \u200cinto Kansans\u2019\u2062 personal lives \u200c\u2014 it\u2019s wrong,\u200d it\u2019s bad for business,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHowever, I\u200b am \u2063committed to following the\u2063 law.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Media Bias and Transgender Newspeak<\/h3>\n<p>Regarding media bias and transgender\u2064 newspeak as it relates to legislation like Kansas\u2019, check out how\u2062 the Reflector described the law, known as Senate Bill 180:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cSB 180 defines women by reproductive ability and uses an extreme right-wing\u2062 group\u2019s explanations of gender and sex to classify Kansans as either women, men or, in\u2063 a\u2064 third category, disabled \u2014\u200b a definition that critics \u200chave condemned as not science-based\u2064 and offensive,\u201d the outlet reported.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>It\u2019s amazing that what was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/knowles-the-limits-of-religious-tolerance\/\" title=\"KNOWLES: The Limits of Religious Tolerance\">considered common sense<\/a>\u2063 not too long \u2063ago \u2063is now defined as an \u201cextreme \u2064right-wing\u2062 group\u2019s explanations\u201d on \u2062how gender \u200dworks.<\/p>\n<p>The idea of individuals\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/progressive-uk-finally-draws-line-sand-gives-transgender-lesson-biology\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">XX\u200c and XY chromosomes<\/a> \u2014 along with an infinitesimally small category of individuals \u2064who \u200dhave \u200cchromosomal\u2062 anomalies \u2014 has been thrown out the window, replaced by the idea that gender can\u2019t\u2062 be constrained by science and \u200bthat \u201cscience\u201d must\u200b bow to emotion to ensure people can choose to be whatever \u200dgender they want.<\/p>\n<p>This isn\u2019t\u2064 to target the tiny \u200cportion of the population that actually suffers\u200b from gender dysphoria \u200b\u2014 a term virtually no American would\u2063 have been familiar\u2063 with only\u2062 a few <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/overtly-politicized-inside-manchins-filibuster-war-against-the-democrats\/\" title=\"\u2018Overtly Politicized\u2019: Inside Manchin\u2019s Filibuster War Against The Democrats\">short years ago<\/a>\u2064 but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/many-girls-gender-affirming-top-surgeries-no-one-knows\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">now seems<\/a> \u200das common as acne among American teenagers thanks to leftist propaganda.<\/p>\n<p>One should feel the utmost sympathy for these\u200d individuals.
