That&#8217;s up from 7.8% in 2021. In fact, it was the first increase in the \u2064U.S.\u2064 poverty rate in 13 years.<\/p>\n<p>That news comes \u2063as the Census also reported that the U.S. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/poverty-rate-increases-for-first-time-in-over-a-decade-bidenomics\/\" title=\"Bidenomics leads to first decade-long rise in poverty rate.\">real \u200bmedian household income decreased<\/a> by 2.3% to $74,580 in 2022. Meanwhile, year-over-year inflation rose 7.8%,\u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxbusiness.com\/economy\/us-household-income-fell-2022-census-data-shows\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">per<\/a> Fox Business.<\/p>\n<p>The Biden administration has long claimed \u2063that\u2063 his policies are working and \u2064that his spending plans have \u200bjuiced\u2062 the American economy.
