Recent incidents\u2063 include the arrest of individuals accused of operating a \u200bsecret police\u2064 station in New York City and Navy\u200b sailors\u2064 arrested for\u2062 passing sensitive military information to Chinese intelligence officers.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Mr. Wray \u2063highlighted the comprehensive approach\u2062 of China&#8217;s \u200bintelligence apparatus, which combines cyber, \u200dhuman intelligence, \u200dcorporate transactions, and investments to achieve its strategic goals. Experts have warned that \u200bthese\u2064 goals ultimately aim to displace\u200d the \u200bUnited States as the world&#8217;s leading power.<\/p>\n<h3>CCP Threat<\/h3>\n<p>The FBI\u200b is actively investigating \u2062thousands of\u2063 Chinese intelligence\u2064 cases,\u200c with \u2063each of its\u200d 56 field offices handling active cases. These investigations involve Chinese spies&#8217; recruitment efforts, information theft, \u2062hacking,\u200c and harassment of Chinese\u2063 dissidents.<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>The CCP&#8217;s strategic goals also \u2064extend to transnational repression, targeting critics abroad to silence them.
