I will collaborate with all groups and strive for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/eastern-caribbean-states-open-consulate-in-western-sahara\/\" title=\"Eastern Caribbean states open consulate in Western Sahara\">mutually acceptable solution<\/a>,&#8221; he explained. &#8220;We will\u200d determine a specific number of weeks or months that\u200b will satisfy the majority.\u200b After all, 92 percent of Democrats do\u2063 not support abortion after a\u2064 certain period of time.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>While many have proposed\u2064 a &#8220;15-week&#8221; ban, which falls early in the \u2064second trimester, he emphasized the importance \u200dof involving more stakeholders before considering any legislation.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I would sit down with \u200cboth \u2062sides and negotiate something, resulting in peace on this issue for\u200b the first time \u2063in 52\u2063 years,&#8221; he declared, refraining from stating his support for a federal ban.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I won&#8217;t say whether\u200d I would or wouldn&#8217;t,&#8221; he added, expressing pride in overturning Roe v. He stressed \u2063the importance of including exceptions in any abortion ban. &#8220;I believe there \u200cshould be exceptions. In cases of rape, incest, or\u2063 when the life of the mother is at risk, exceptions are \u200bcrucial. It&#8217;s very\u200c important.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Tudor Dixon, a Republican \u2062candidate \u200bwho ran for the governor&#8217;s seat in Michigan last\u2062 year but was unsuccessful, recently revealed\u2063 that\u2063 President Trump had advised her on\u200c abortion policy.\u2063 She admitted that she failed to heed his advice\u200d to \u2063adopt\u200d a different approach to discussing\u200b abortion.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We couldn&#8217;t change our stance in time, and you were absolutely right, sir,&#8221; Ms. Dixon acknowledged.<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>  &#8220;That&#8217;s what happened to many others, but not to \u200bme because there&#8217;s a way to address it. They are the radicals. You have to explain it. And I\u200c believe exceptions are very important. You and I\u2062 discussed that,&#8221; President Trump affirmed.<\/p>\n<h2>DeSantis Responds<\/h2>\n<p>  Mr. DeSantis&#8217;s campaign took to social \u2064media to respond after President\u200b Trump\u2063 criticized \u2063Florida&#8217;s six-week ban, questioning his political rival&#8217;s \u200cconciliatory approach.\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>  \u2063  &#8220;Trump\u200b says he will compromise with Democrats on\u200b abortion so that they&#8217;re nice to him,&#8221; the campaign <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DeSantisWarRoom\/status\/1703410253918883897\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote<\/a> \u200b in a post \u2062on X, formerly Twitter. &#8220;Ron\u2062 DeSantis\u200c will NEVER sell out conservatives to win praise from corporate media or the Left.&#8221;\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>  Mr. DeSantis&#8217;s \u2064communications director, Andrew Romeo, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/andrewromeo33\/status\/1703410688436130269?s=46&#038;t=8P6eO-OrwEt71nEf4BMc8g\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">added<\/a> that \u2063previous compromises with Democrats had led to &#8220;disastrous&#8221;\u2063 outcomes, such as an unfinished border \u200cwall.\n<\/div>\n<p>Several states have enacted &#8220;heartbeat&#8221; abortion bills,\u200b which prohibit the\u2064 procedure \u200conce a fetal \u2064heartbeat is detectable, typically around the six-week mark.
