\u201cThe defendant did not take advantage of the situation when her husband\u200d left the home that \u2064night,\u201d Assistant District Attorney Jennifer Sprague said during Clancy\u2019s arraignment on Tuesday. \u201cShe\u200d created the situation. And she used Apple\u200c Maps to make sure she had enough time to\u2064 strangle\u2064 each child before \u2064her\u2062 husband returned from where she sent him.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sprague\u200b added that it took at least four minutes \u200cto kill each child and that\u2064 Clancy told a\u2062 psychiatrist she \u201ckilled the kids because\u200c she heard a voice\u201d and had \u201ca moment of psychosis.\u201d<\/p>\n
Clancy\u2019s\u200c husband, Patrick, said during the hearing that\u2064 his \u200dwife only used the word \u201cpsychosis\u201d after speaking with\u2062 a doctor hired by\u200d her defense attorney<\/a>, \u200bthe Beast reported.<\/p>\n
