Once these malicious actors gain\u2063 access, they can easily drain users\u2019 cryptocurrency wallets.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cuban did \u2064note that much of the potential damage was mitigated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince I was only working with the account that got\u2063 hacked, none of\u200c my others gave up anything,\u201d he told DL News.<\/p>\n<p>Much to the\u2062 chagrin of \u200dcryptocurrency \u2062users, this has been \u200dthe second high-profile\u200b cryptocurrency scam this month.<\/p>\n<p>On Sept. 6, the FBI put out an official release connecting a North Korean hacker group to a whopping <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/fbi-identifies-culprits-41m-casino-heist-bringing-total-1b-stolen-group\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">$41 million heist<\/a> from\u2062 an \u200donline casino that specializes in cryptocurrency.<\/p>\n<p>And \u2064if there \u200cwas any\u200b doubt about the \u2064lucrative nature of cryptocurrency crime, the FBI warned that this hacker group\u2063 has stolen hundreds of millions of dollars.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese same\u202f\u200c DPRK \u200c [Democratic People\u2019s Republic of Korea, or North Korea] actors are also responsible for several other <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/someone-got-me-shark-tank-star-mark-cuban-loses-small-fortune-after-heist-clears-out-his-account\/\" title=\"Shark Tank's Mark Cuban Loses Big in Account Heist\">high-profile international virtual currency heists<\/a>.
