It not only affects their academic progress but also hinders their social and emotional development. \u200bStudents who are chronically \u200cabsent are more likely to fall behind their peers, experience lower\u200d academic achievement, and have a higher risk of dropping out of school altogether.\u2064 This is a\u2062 grave concern\u200b that needs to be addressed urgently.<\/p>\n<p>Efforts are already underway to address this issue \u2063across Minnesota.
