The performance was by \u2063a child\u200b of some friends, and it was truly impressive. However, what followed was disappointing. \u200bThe school \u2063served the kids the usual\u2062 unhealthy and \u2063tasteless\u2063 cafeteria food. It made me realize that \u200ceven in one of\u2063 the most affluent cities\u2063 in the\u2062 country,\u2062 our school food system\u2062 is failing our \u2062children.<\/p>\n<p>Now, I understand the desire\u2063 to improve school food, and\u200b it&#8217;s a \u200dcause championed by Gov. \u200cGavin Newsom&#8217;s wife, Jennifer. However, the approach being taken is problematic. By understanding \u2063these variations, one can \u2064choose an eating plan that aligns with \u200btheir\u2062 genetic\u2062 makeup.
