Virginia&#8217;s Democratic senators, Tim Kaine and Mark Warner,\u200b declined\u2062 to comment on whether she \u200cshould end her\u200b campaign. Gibson&#8217;s district,\u200d which includes part of Richmond\u200b and its surrounding \u200bsuburbs, is one of the \u200bfew \u200dthat could determine which\u200c party controls the state&#8217;s lower \u2064chambers after the upcoming elections in November.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I\u200c met \u2063Ms.\u2063 Gibson once,&#8221; Warner told the \u2062 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2023\/sep\/14\/va-general-assembly-candidate-susanna-gibsons-onli\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Washington Times<\/em><\/a>. \u200b&#8221;I&#8217;m anxious to hear\u2014there have been reports from her campaign of pushback. I want to hear\u200b both sides and then I&#8217;ll weigh in.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Kaine, who campaigned for Gibson just last weekend,\u200c said at a Wednesday press conference,\u200d &#8220;I don&#8217;t really know her that well.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;But I was very, very \u2062surprised at the \u2062story. It really took me\u200c aback,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<p>Democratic Rep. Abigail Spanberger, who\u200c previously\u2062 supported Gibson&#8217;s campaign, called the videos \u200c&#8221;a shocking, terrible situation.&#8221; Spanberger also declined to comment on whether Gibson should drop \u200bout of the race.<\/p>\n<p>Gibson&#8217;s campaign did not respond to a request for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Gibson, often accompanied by her husband, performed on \u200dChaturbate from at least May\u2062 2022 to September of that year, two\u200c months after she announced her candidacy. In exchange \u200cfor &#8220;tips&#8221; from Chaturbate users, \u200bGibson would\u200b act out various sexual requests.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Yeah, you can watch \u2064me pee. Gibson \u2062received the &#8220;Family Friendly Seal of Approval&#8221; from the\u2062 left-wing Family\u2064 Friendly Virginia in May.<\/p>\n<p>Gibson remains determined to stay in the race and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2023\/09\/11\/us\/politics\/susanna-gibson-virginia.html\">told<\/a> the <em>New York Times<\/em> that the\u2062 circulation of her Chaturbate streams &#8220;won&#8217;t intimidate me and \u2062it won&#8217;t silence \u2064me.&#8221; Her \u200battorney, Daniel \u200cP.
