Bob Good (R-Va.) for failing to prosecute individuals who use Artificial Intelligence (AI) computer programs to generate\u2064 Child Sexual Abuse Materials (CSAM). Despite <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/rep-good-wants-ban-on-using-ai-to-generate-child-sexual-abuse-materials\/\" title=\"Rep. Good seeks to prohibit the use of AI in creating child sexual abuse materials.\">federal court decisions affirming<\/a> the legality of such prosecutions, the DOJ has yet to file a single \u2063case.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;This year, there have been numerous \u2064reports of widespread AI use for generating CSAM. While the issue of CSAM was not discussed \u2062during the forum, Mr. Good is determined to bring it to the forefront of public policy.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Good emphasized \u2064the urgency of the matter, stating, &#8220;The first\u2064 reports of AI \u2063being used to exploit children for \u2063the purpose \u2064of generating CSAM surfaced in 2019, when it was revealed that AI could generate obscene, personalized images of minors under the age of 18. Bob Good, are demanding answers and solutions from the DOJ. This includes not only those who create and distribute\u2063 such materials but also those who consume and support this illicit industry.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, it \u2064is imperative that lawmakers and policymakers work together to strengthen existing laws and regulations \u2063to\u2064 better address the challenges posed by AI-generated CSAM.
