But in this particular case, Archer said he met with the Bidens for an exclusive breakfast meeting at the U.S. Naval Observatory adjacent to the White House with Marc Holtzman, chairman of Kazakhstan\u2019s largest bank, Kazkommertsbank.<\/p>\n<p>The discussion revolved around Holtzman lobbying then-Vice President Biden to use his influence to help then-Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov \u2014 who is currently serving 18 years in a Kazakhstan jail after authorities convicted him of high treason and other crimes \u2014 to be Secretary-General of the United Nations, according to Archer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was about who was going to be the next U.N. Secretary-General \u2026 Marc Holtzman was lobbying for Karim Massimov,\u201d Archer <a href=\"https:\/\/justthenews.com\/sites\/default\/files\/2023-08\/Devon-Archer-Transcript.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a> during his testimony. \u201cBut it was, obviously, that didn\u2019t happen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Archer added that the meeting also occurred to further Burisma\u2019s energy deal in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe other reasons for Massimov were Burisma Eurasia, because he was the Prime Minister, and Burisma was trying to expand its businesses, so I leveraged the relationship to introduce him to the company \u2014 the country and new equipment and technology and clean drilling,\u201d Archer said. \u201cSo that was \u2014 that was probably some of the effort.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, the deal was reportedly never made.<\/p>\n<p>Biden has repeatedly claimed he never spoke with his son about foreign business dealings.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\">CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILY WIRE APP<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>GOP lawmakers on Wednesday <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/house-republicans-accuse-democrats-and-their-corporate-media-allies-of-ignoring-evidence-of-biden-family-corruption\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">released<\/a> more than 20 examples alleging President Joe Biden\u2019s past involvement with his family\u2019s foreign business dealings as they accused \u201cDemocrats and their corporate media allies\u201d of ignoring the \u201cmounting evidence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Republicans claim Biden and his family made millions of dollars from payments by overseas business interests, including an energy company in Ukraine, a private equity firm in China, and consulting for a Romanian real-estate magnate. The investigation has also alleged Hunter pulled in an estimated $20 million through 20 shell companies and fake accounts while his father served as vice president.<\/p>\n<p>Archer told lawmakers that \u201cBiden was used as \u2018The Brand\u2019 and to send \u2018signals\u2019 of power, access, and influence to enrich the Biden family from foreign sources,\u201d the committee wrote in the news release.<\/p>\n<p>House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) directed the House committees to open a formal impeachment inquiry into President Biden after months of House Republicans uncovering \u201cserious and credible\u201d allegations into President Biden\u2019s conduct that he referred to as a \u201cculture of corruption.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>House Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, who is part of the House Oversight Committee leading the impeachment inquiry into President Biden, <a href=\"https:\/\/justthenews.com\/accountability\/political-ethics\/thuhunter-biden-delivered-meeting-father-business-associates-inside#article\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told<\/a> Just the News on Wednesday that the alleged 2015 meeting in Washington, D.C., could prove Biden\u2019s direct involvement in his son\u2019s foreign business dealings.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat has full-blown access and participation by then-Vice President Joe Biden,\u201d Greene said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe American people need to know about all of this,\u201d she added. \u201cAnd that\u2019s what our impeachment inquiry will produce \u2014 the evidence . . .
