While the \u200bannouncement of an official impeachment inquiry marks a \u200cnew phase in Republican investigations, Mr. Biggs said he doesn&#8217;t want the\u200b three \u2063committees to rush their work and anticipates \u200cefforts will be somewhat \u200dslow starting out.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I\u200d know they want \u2062to push this through \u200creally fast,\u200b but I want to make sure that \u200bwe have an unassailable case,&#8221;\u200b he said. \u2063&#8221;I \u2064think the case is pretty\u200d strong now. Jacky Rosen (D-Nev.) said the impeachment inquiry is based on &#8220;MAGA-laced conspiracy theories.&#8221;<\/div>\n<h2>Inquiry Boosts Subpoena\u2064 Power: Biggs<\/h2>\n<p>Some Republicans, like Sen.\u200b Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), have argued that an official\u200d impeachment inquiry gives Republican investigators stronger subpoena power\u200d than they\u2064 did simply by holding\u200d the House majority.
