Do you have any concern?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The exchange came two days after Amiri <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/hunter-biden-congress-oversight-republicans-impeachment-57c5b1b40d19ede4ecf7fde08c027cee?taid=6500cdd8fb4e1e0001b32f7e&#038;utm_campaign=TrueAnthem&#038;utm_medium=AP&#038;utm_source=Twitter\">wrote<\/a>\u00a0that &#8220;House Republicans have <span>aggressively investigated Biden and his son<\/span>, claiming without evidence that they engaged in an influence-peddling scheme.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>McCarthy proceeded to list numerous pieces of evidence that Hunter Biden used his proximity to his father as a way to profit in his business dealings. Last month, Hunter Biden&#8217;s former business partner Devon Archer <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/latest-news\/joe-biden-had-dinner-with-burisma-exec-according-to-hunter-biden-associate-his-team-said-it-never-happened\/\">testified<\/a> that the president had dinner with an executive from the Ukrainian energy firm that was paying his son.\t<\/p>\n<p>The speaker also brought up the evidence <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/latest-news\/known-foreign-payments-to-biden-family-soar-past-20-million-house-oversight-committee-reveals\/\">released<\/a> by the House Oversight Committee days after Archer&#8217;s testimony. It revealed that, during Joe Biden&#8217;s vice presidency, a Russian oligarch paid $3.5 million into a shell company associated with Hunter Biden. Additionally, a Kazakhstani oligarch wired the president&#8217;s son $142,300, the cost of a sports car he purchased the next day, the committee revealed.<\/p>\n<p>Members of the media have run cover for the Biden family since allegations of corruption and influence-peddling first surfaced in 2020.
